I can't believe I never heard this while playing, is it because there is some quest related to this that I never did? dashwood is an npc of the game as far as it goes
I have noticed that I have not heard it once during the campaign I’m playing now. I heard it many years ago when I played the first time around but even then I didn’t hear it often.
Also, I don’t know if it ever had anything to do with a particular quest. The only thing I can think of since you mentioned it is getting the ghouls into Tenpenny Tower. The first time I played, I helped them get in and I did hear the Dashwood show in that run. I have not helped them ever again since and haven’t heard it. Could be a coincide but I’m not sure. 🤔
@@FreshSpecimens its on the radio though it unlocks more as you follow certine quest lines im pretty sure. Like if you do the slavers camp quest im pretty sure it unlocks some new stories.
Herbert himself is actually alive and well within Tenpenny Tower. And there's a quest or maybe an unmarked one where you can find Argyle in the ruins of Rockopolis. Unfortunately he's a corpse.
There should have been a follow-up that was just "The Adventures of Argyle", and he's just, like, sitting at Moriarty's, having a drink and a laugh, and standing up for Gob...never mentioning that time that Dashwood fell to his death...
Picture lone wanderer making love with amata and the other gals comes back to the vault after mothership zeta I bet amatas diary is filled with love and lust for him
I swear I remember it playing on Galaxy News Radio when I played this years ago. However, I started playing this game again a few months back and I am up to level 18/19 and haven’t heard the show once. I have never checked it out but I wonder if there is a particular mission or interaction in the game that triggers the show to play?
Words cannot express how much I love The Adventures of Herbert “Daring” Dashwood. I am going to be 70 years old and still playing Fallout and listening to this clip. 🤣
Yeah, Jason nuked it because someone broke the claw machine while he was sleeping, just because they thought it was funny. They got the claw stuck in such a way that it burnt out the motor and snapped the claw itself in half.
@@Michael-zn5jl I sent the link here but I think it got removed since I cant see it anymore, any more suggestions? (Unless it worked and youtube isn't showing it to me)
So, Argyle’s dead in Rockopolis, the place seemed to have caved in, there’s also a note there with slavers talking about taking some people to the Pitt, and Dashwood’s at Tenpenny Tower. How lovely.
