It's interesting but not exactly a "guide" or "how-to". She documents what it's like to move to the country and build a small farm and garden with lots of help from neighboring people. She doesn't hunt but shows others hunting and processing the animals for her. Once cleaned then she cooks with the meat. She doesn't show how to prep everything. She shows food cooking but no recipes or "how-to" . The scenery is beautiful and she does document some foraging and beach cooking which is nice. If anything the show might encourage others to research what is around them to hunt, fish, and gather. I've grown up in this lifestyle and it's rewarding but definitely has its challenges. I'd say this series is a glimpse into what it's like. It's a good watch if this kind of thing interests you.

not sure if you really care about the animals on your farm but i seems that you don't why is it that your cows have horns, your rooster have their spurs but your goats have nothing to protect themselves or their young you complain how predators invaded your yard but you leave your goats unprotected.
