Sad. I couldnt imagine getting f'd by grotesque perverted men just to make a few bucks, and the scattering when they see the camera says more than enough on multiple levels. NYC just seems like a city that if you werent born there, you cant understand why anyone would live there. LOL. Now more than ever. I get the allure from the 80s and 90s as a kid. NYC in movies was so cool, so busy, etc.. Even then that was me as a child learning about a city through tv shows and movies, not reality. They werent exactly making movies about brownsville back then. lol Economics aside. Like how do you even have a normal functioning, trusting relationship in this weird city. Just seems like a playground for the devil

149th and 3rd is one of the worst areas for sure. I grew up in the bx and I hated going that way at any time 😂 but some of my family lived there so I had to but this is a rough area for sure 😢but the best part of that area is that there is literally EVERYTHING you need right there it’s actually a very popular area because so many important schools, hospitals, etc are around there too. I’m sad for ny but it’ll always be where my heart is ❤🗽
Yes. This was intrusive. The camera operator repeatedly zeroed in on people lying on the pavement covered in cardboard. Not sure what the point was in filming that other than exploitation.
