I was in a rock combo in Nashville, TN when I was in high school in 1965 (The DeVilles) which did this song. Thanks for adding it here! Brings back memories.
This is not a KB Discomatic, it is the Swiss one. KB were a British company, they manufactured their Discomatic using imported players from Switzerland. The term "John Lennon's Jukebox" refereed to the British made one.
Hi thanks for a video. And I have a question. Please write me the Gerinvex discomatics driver and flywhell belt sizes (diameter and district). Many Thanks, Ishty
Hi, Sorry I havn't got back to you earlier but have been away, in France. Anyway, your question on the non playing of 'B' side on the discomatic. First, run the motor assembly half way alon the carrage.Unplug the power. Look underneath the large flywheel which has the larger drive belt on it,you should see a thin 'spring loaded pin'. This should be set in the small cut out on the 'shoulder plate'. This is the common fault, that the pin is not in the 'hole'. Regards Kim
Hi thanks for the informative video, I have just purchased a Semi working 1961 KB Discomatic and wondered if you could tell me what part of the mechanism should change the motor direction to play B sides? Mine seems to only go in the direction to play A Sides. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks
