im unimpressed by these liquitex time wasters. just saw the da vinci oils KIT mixing primaries into 2ndary and black white, FAR EXCEEDS this video you likely got as liquitex promo. im guessing someone who paints made the davinci promo, someone who isnt even an artist made the liquitex. i think youd have alot more subs and views and product purchase if you showed these materials being used
Watercolor paints are wonderful…I had to recycle the plastic case as it was too difficult to open and I dumped all the pans to the floor during the struggle open. I now have them securely stored in a repurposed metal color pencil box. Now it’s a GOOD set with terrific 1/2 pans of well pigmented color.
I really love white taklon brushes for acrylics. For some reason the golden taklon doesn't hold enough "flow". I think I treat my acrylics like watercolors half the time.
I have a lot of suggestions, like include a parts list with the product, include directions with the product, tell us about the rod going on the outside before you show us how to put it together (sort of show that ).:. Don’t tighten anything before it is completely assembled. So few parts and such a counter intuitive assembly.
How well do these lay down on handmade paper? Im looking for a paper constency that blends cotton paper ( watercolor ), with mulberry ( Sumi calligraphy. ) I heard about Mungyo for some time and want to check these out.
Is there any plans of coming out with a watercolor sketchbook for the urban sketchers out here? I love the paper, but it's not always convenient to have sheets or blocks out and about.
