I like that his revive is his ultimate and not an ability like mercy because the frustration of getting a kill and mercy just flys in and nobody notices then the tank we spent 1 ultimate on is now back.

i feel like the ult is the undertuned thing in her kit. it just feels like it makes no impact

first off, ever since the patch for the passive healing, mercy’s healing has been way off. no matter i still LOVE playing her. yes i will agree that mercy isn’t the greatest support right now, but i think knowing how to fully use her kit definitely helps. if she really isn’t working, then there is always the option to skip. teammates will be quick to tell you to swap but don’t let that deter you. i’ve been playing mercy probably over a year now & i think what’s one of the biggest things that a lot of non-mercy players underestimate is her movement. other than her dmg boosting, her movement is what makes her so fun (and what can keep you alive). i think you should definitely look into mercy parkour, not only is it fun but it helps TONS with her movement. it definitely takes time, and despite the lack of heals she is still so much fun to play!

i’d be more than happy to give you any tips or help you out bc there are so many things to learn about mercy’s movement & how to stay alive with her while having a somewhat viable healing/dmg combo

@@julsluvscheese Thank you for your answer!! Yes I agree that she is extremely fun to play, I also enjoy playing as Liveweaver! I never heard about Mercy's parkour, I need to look it up :) Honestly I tried other supports and I don't really like their playstyle, maybe I could play as Kiriko, but still, being able to fully focus on heals & buffing my team is the most fun for me. However, I don't want to be useless as just "heal bot" (soo many people say that "healbots" are useless cuz if u play as mercy or teamweaver ur team is basically playing 4vs5 because u dont deal any damage and there are other supports than can heal as much as mercy and still deal lots of damage, Ana for example, or even Moira, and that is where Im confused lol, cuz I see so many ppl playing as Mercy in high ranks and Im like "SO SHE'S USELESS OR NOT?!" lol :D

To answer your questions, Mercy isn’t the strongest support, she is quite lack luster as of recently. That doesn’t mean she’s a “bad” pick necessarily, but I would not recommend one tricking. The other comment about mercy parkour is good! But pls keep in mind that Mercy Parkour isn’t going to teach you everything, it’s very convoluted and a lot of the micro movements in mercy parkour you don’t actually use! Another thing, mercy healing is not good! That doesn’t mean DONT heal, but it is very important to balance both beams evenly. Mercy is incredibly strong because of her damage boost capabilities. Pls, going forward, look at damage boost as the damage YOU provide to the team, although mercy doesn’t do direct damage, boosting the damage of your team is REALLY important !

most ashe players tend to throw it out in risky, open areas :) and unless bob is the only one out there to dmgboost, it's typically better to just dmgboost your teammates ! of course this is all situational though
