Ce raid était à 4590€ pour le pilote et la machine. Il comprenait le transport de la machine et la pension complète sur place. Non compris: le buggy, les vols, les boissons sur place, l'essence et les assurances et assistances pour le véhicule et le pilote. C'est un prix assez classique pour une grosse organisation qui comprend équipes mécano et médicale. Les raids au Maroc sont le top, mais restent assez chers à cause du transport (bateau et complications administratives).
Well, most common brands are still Polaris and CanAm. Honda Talon and Kawasaki KRX are not distributed in Europe. The problem in Europe is the homologation, it means that most SSV need to be road legal in Europe. Why? Because we do not have huge area for 4X4 like you do in the US, so in order to have fun, we use roads more than Americans, and being road legal is therefore a necessary evil. For instance CanAm X3 is not road legal in Europe, you can see some on roads but it means the owner cheated when he claims it is road legal. Usually the owner uses papers from an other road legal model. Not a smart idea if you ask me. About Yamaha, the YXZ can be homologated (road legal) so it is indeed a quite common model. But my video does not show the reality of the European market, like I said, most common brands are still Polaris and CanAm. The reason why there are a lot of YXZ riding with me is that the dealer organising my raids abroad (Europe or Africa) is actually a Yamaha dealer. And the raids he organises are for his clients first, Yamaha clients. For European SSV lovers, US is the dream ! ;-)
