I bought a pair KYB struts last year I haven't installed them yet but it's interesting. The price has gone up almost $40 for each one... pretty crazy inflation.. Still need to get the rubber boots Now that summer is over i will install them

no installation so I don't know whether the boots can only fit KYB mount, nor know whether both can be used on my car which has boot damager

i INSTALLED ON 2002 windstar and while I have dont this a couple of ties before with other brands this time around it sucked and still not right. Now, I also just did it on lexus rx350 with no problems. There were no instructions and no mention of misalignment of upper mount. I had to call and find out about being able to turn at top to make fit. Now the toe or alignment is all messed up and the tire look to bow in on bottom. Thankfully it;s on second car i seldom used but have not used in a long time and was trying to fix problems tonight and still no vuisual instructions to be founbd. Totally disappointing as I thought they full assemble supposed to be no brainier for a DIY. They have little visual help out here and rather just talk about it, but they may be fine for a pro, not so good for dyi. Maybe thgere were some missoing parts but i wouldnt have known that as there was nothing in the box

Terrible strut and FAKE warranty. Bought a pair from Walmart and they failed in about 15k miles. Walmart says contact KYB for warranty and KYB says Walmart.

I just installed a KYB monomax heavy duty shock on my Ram 1500 crew cab. The ride is superb the rise like I just bought it off the showroom floor. I love these shocks.

On my last car, a 98 Toyota Corolla LE, I had installed KYB replacement bellows because the original ones were beginning to tear only after a few years. Replacing the bellows was a total pain in the ars, but the replacements were even worse and only lasted 1 year. They were completely shreaded into rings. Then I sold that car and now I have a low mileage 99 Camry XLE creampuff. I installed Sensen Speedy Struts all around, and of course, this turned out to be a big mistake. The fronts lock up in freezing cold weather, so I just got my money back and purchased 2 front KYB strut assemblies with springs. I am SOOOO sick of replacing suspension parts, especially when it's cold outside. Please tell me that the bellows are going to last more than a year. Lie to me if you have to. Everyone else has. The rear Sensens are fine and are valved for a stock ride.

Doesn't seem like they are going answer these important questions. I've had AGX's on my '03 Mustang GT for over 10 years. Thankfully, I haven't had to ask these questions, since I haven't had an issue yet, except the one about how the Lifetime Warranty is handled. I believe it is sad when a company puts out a RU-vid page and doesn't respond to questions on it.

How does your life time warranty work? My rears are seized and fronts are blown.

Hello, I have Mazda 3 2004(i-sedan 4 door)2,0 L engine with 82000 km in odo. Recently rear left shock mount broke . I was wondering shall i replace the mount only or the complete shock with mount. If i need to change the shock as well, which one will be a good choice. KYB 551105 Gas-a-Just Gas shock or KYB 343412 Excel -G gas shock.. Also, do i need to change both the rear shocks if i need to replace only the left side. Thanks,

You start by NOT buying a KYB...unless you like the idea of your life relying on undersized, tack welded, garbage. And don't trust the reviews on AutoAnything.com as they're so scrubbed or fraudulent they're worthless.

make shock absorbers that last and don´t need replacement all the time

my new KYB strut mounts bind while turning the wheel causing noise. I"m very disappointed in the quality of KYB products because of this. I did not have this problem with the old stock mounts.

I have a Customers Car in the shop has KYB Ft Struts Nitrogen leaked out and needed replacement, the shop that replaced them is no longer in Business and customer does not have repair receipt. I Emailed KYB with a Picture of the Strut and The Major Parts Store info that sells KYB Products and I got a Copied and Paste back response saying i need to take these struts to a Authorized Seller to determine the Condition. It was obvious that the person was Oblivious of my Detailed Email and gave me a Generic Response. As A Master Mechanic 37+ years Experience that Response was a Insulting. I was Expecting a more help full answer than Copy-Paste email Really KYB i'm NOT Impressed and I have Promoting there products Since 1981. Corporate Customer Relations in this Country is gone down the Toilette.

I installed the KYB Excel - G on my toyota sienna and after 6 months, my car's shock/strut started to have loud noises. Switching back to the original Toyota brand is better.

Hi. I have an eclipse rs and when I first got it, it was already lowered but the front two shocks were shot; the back were fine. So I bought four new eibach pro kit lowering springs (lowered 1.5in from normal ride hight) and two front kyb excel g shocks. I noticed that while on the freeway riding over a pattern of dips, my car will sway for a short period. Also while driving through a deep crown in the street my shocks give. Is this something to be concerned about?

I own a 2004 Cadillac srx v8 awd model. I have been told the back stuts are out, that would explain why my back tires are shaped like the letter A or like this / \ and its wearing out my tires on the inner edge. I told my local Cadillac dealer and they said its the suspension and they are $880.00 but that is for the suspension not the strut which is $100.00 on this site. I don't know if I'm going to buy the right part needed to fix the "/ \" shape. please help :-/

I have an 04 Nissan Altima, and I have installed Aftermarket Lowering springs. After a while, the front side is making loud squeaky noises as I'm driving. Now these are my Original Factory struts I got. What would you recommend me to get? And where can I purchase the set? Does AutoZone carry those items?? Please message me with info. Thanks :)
