We exist to help people unlock a movement mindset (#movementmindset) through jump rope.
Elite Jumps was founded in 2016 by a former competitive jumper and coach to numerous national and world jump rope champions. His goal from the beginning was to develop products that enable competitive jump rope athletes to excel at the highest levels of their sport.
We have a video that might help! Follow the first steps, take as many beads off as you need to in order to make it the length you want it, then put the handle back on, put the washer back on, then tie the rope close to the handle like it was, and cut off all of the extra! If you need any further assistance, please email us at contact@elitejumps.co and I will make a video demonstrating how to do it :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o1B1nb6uSLc.html

Add three feet (36 inches) to your height to begin with. That is approx height + 91 centimeters, in-between handles. When you can jump 50 times without any mistankes, you can begin to shorten your rope in increments of 4 inches (10 centimeters), until you reach your height + 2 feet (24 inches) or 61 cm in-between handles. (Take off 4 inches and get used to the new length. Then a few days later, take off another 4 inches etc.) From here (your height + 2 feet between handles) you need to shorten the rope in smaller increments,- if you still feel it is needed Makes sure to get a good feel for the shortened rope length After adjustment, before actually cutting the excess rore. At some point you’ll find that you have shortened it too much and you’ll want to add an inch or two back in. 😊
Hi there! To help you out better, could you please send a picture of the rope to contact@elitejumps.co? We’ll take a look and provide the best solution for you. Thanks!

Here's what I'm hearing: an analytical math & science person went into Philosophy - which is NOT creative. It's like the science of abstract/ big-picture thinking, in the 90s in the West, it would have been very analytical. Then, he went on to be a ghost writer... A family therapist, & then a "Creativity Coach". Yet as an analytical science/ Philosophy person, he didn't quite have the exact same issues as creatives. He analysed their issues through his therapy, but his solutions are imposed from his analytical mind. For a second I thought, hmm maybe a creativity coach isn't as bad or false as a life coach. Yet another one who advocates solutions to problems he never had to deal with in the first place.
Boba straws don’t have the same quality or weight as our beads, so they might not give you a true feel for our ropes. If you’d like, reach out to us at contact@elitejumps.co, and we can help you find the best option to try.
Thanks for brining up focusing on the shoulders. I’ve heard many times during the videos “shoulders relaxed”. And to say the truth while jumping I have no idea if my shoulders are relaxed or not. I think you presented a good way to focus on the shoulders to become aware if they are relaxed or not.
We're so glad that tip helped! 😊 Focusing on shoulder relaxation can make a big difference in your jumps. Keep up the great work, and we’re here if you need any more pointers!
I'm am so confused, everytime I try to use it or measure, the rope always come off the handles. I did what the video did where you pull the rope in order to keep the rope inside the handle to not move or get out the handle. I just some how don't understand why my rope keeps coming out the handle, but in the video, it looks just like a normal jump rope, the rope in the video, stays in place within the handle, but my rope just Flys out of the handle, please help.
@elitejumpsco actually nevermind, I figured it out, I found out I was just putting the rope the wrong way, the video was good, I just kind of over thinked it a bit, thank you guys a lot
@markjones you'd be surprised how many questions we get about this simple thing. What information do you need? We have lots of more detailed sizing videos.
@@elitejumpsco actually very useful. had a question about if there was a washer in a rope like this since i got one slightly used off of amazon, and i don't think the person who returned it had the beads tied in the handles. now i know how to set mine up right since currently there is just knots in the handles. thanks!
