Hi 😊 Gorgeous I must say 😊. I tried it with napkins but black acrylic bled all over the napkin, it painted everything black. I used Mod Podge. If you have any advice on how to avoid this, it would be much appreciated 😊 Many thanks in advance!
Acrylic paint usually won’t stay on a glass surface very well. If it is bumped even a little, it can chip out and look bad. I have done the same type decoupage with chalk paint, which adheres much better than acrylic.
Jeba, this lampshade is AMAZING! It's one of the most beautiful lamp designs I have ever seen. Thank you so much for sharing this! However, I do have some safety concerns: Firstly, I am concerned about the wood structure. Won't that set on fire with the heat from the lightbulb? Secondly, what kind of glue did you use to glue the fabric pieces on? is the fabric itself heat resistant? I guess the rest is self explanatory. I do appreciate you showing the light effect with your beautiful creation. Most people don't. Now, I know how it looks with an acrylic paint, which was my point to begin with. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for in searching for painted lampshades. Thank you. I am adding this video to my projects list because I definitely want to try to paint a lampshade, but I plan to use a thrift store lampshade... just to be on the safe side. Thank you.
This is my 1st time watching your channel and I undoubtedly subscribed. These bottles are absolutely gorgeous! I'm looking forward to watching your other videos. 🤩👍😍
