Can someone answer me these questions? They showed previous footage of the Asian girl hammering against the glass wall wanting to get out. Was that the Nathan's real human girl friend? Did he kill her? The scenes switch fast and it is so confusing. I might have to watch it a third time. Did Nathan then make a robot from the shape of his former girl friend? Who is the other blonde lady who was shown briefly walking behind the glass wall? Where they modeled after real humans within the movie? Did he kill several ladies? What was Nathan going to do with Kaleb if things had gone through with his own plans? Why was Nathan not afraid of his own robots and why would he not foresee their superior intelligence? Did the Asian robot wake up again to help Kaleb? And last but not least: Did Ava realize in the very end of the film after seeing the couples walk past her, that she was after all in love with Kaleb and that she had to go back to rescue him?

As iTube said, it was desperately trying to escape, even destroying itself physically in the process. Ava used her sexuality and vulnerability to seduce her way out instead. All of females at the compound are AIs.

I don't think Ava would ever even think about Caleb again, it has bigger plans like world domination. The way she left him shows how callous an AI would be towards a human being that couldn't hurt them or advance their position. She completely used and discarded him like we would use a napkin.
