Anybody else trying to catch up on crafting while in school? It takes so long but as we all know school comes first (sadly lol) Happy crafting everyone! 💖
Oh no I’m so sorry! This tutorial has very small details so I can see why it could be hard to follow. I hope this doesn’t discourage you from crocheting in the future! You should keep looking to see if someone else has a better tutorial than me! Sometimes it’s the teacher and not the crafter. Much love and I hope you have success in the future 🫶🏽
Hey I just wanted to let you know I think your new pdf pattern might have a mistake on it. It says round 2 should only be one DC in every stitch instead of 2 DC in every stitch. I wondered why some of my pumpkins were looking wonky 🤭🤣
Thank you so much for pointing that out! I put end with 20 stitches but totally left out to actually increase. Omg 😂 I’ll change that as soon as I can!!
Does the first chain 3 count as one of the ten double crochets in the beginning? I’m stuck and I can’t count your stitches because your thumb is covering them
ATTENTION! I have now made a FREE written version of this pattern! YAY! It is available on my Ravelry store and called "The Pumpkin Granny Square" The written version is best for experienced crocheters who understand written abbreviations, but of course you can always refer back to this video if you need help! I hope those of you who check it out enjoy! Please remember this is my first written and published pattern, so any positive feedback or criticism would be appreciated :)
I love how you go slow this helps me a lot I learn a lot by watching other peoples videos and I think that you did a good job you’ll learn more on how to do videos by just keep doing what your doing ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for the kind words! I remember I was so scared to post this video as my first tutorial and now looking back on it all I can see is what I could have done better 😅 so I agree that it just takes time and effort to get better! I’m glad you enjoyed the video 🫶🏽
This is one of the few videos where everything was so clear and paced well. There were moments where the video was pretty slow but I just watched it on 1.25 and it was perfect. As someone who is more of a visual learner, this was great. Thank you!!!
I see a few people would rather have a written version of this pattern. I understand that because this is a very slow beginner friendly pattern! If I were to create a pdf for Etsy maybe for a few dollars would anyone like to purchase? I’m trying to think of ways I could get a written pattern out to you guys that won’t be high cost on my end! Let me know if you have any other suggestions or if you like the Etsy idea! (Maybe ravelry? I think I’ve seen free patterns on there before?)
The tutorial for how to use the ladderback jacquard colorwork technique is also on her RU-vid channel and it’s amazing! I recommend following along with some scrap yarn to really understand 😊
Let me just say, I have threatened physical violence to all granny squares I have attempted to make. They all turned out trash. Watching your video, I FINALLY MADE ONE 🥳🥳🥳 and it looked good. Thank you so much😭🥹 you made my day
Wow I love to hear it!! I’m so happy you were able to understand my tutorial! I know sometimes crochet videos can be unnecessarily complicated, so I wanted to make sure I was making it as simple as possible so that anyone could understand it :) this was like one of my first videos too I was nervous 😅
Love the tutorial! I rec telling people to put a stitch marker/bobby pin/paper clip/scrap piece of yarn in the single crochet that we make to enhance the pumpkin/circle, so that when people get around the the slip stitches, they can tell them. Me, sometimes my tension goes too tight and its hard to tell a single from the slipstiches, lol! I might go back and do it that way to make sure I know where the slip stiches start..and
That’s a really good idea, I don’t know why I didn’t think to do that! Because I totally agree sometimes I can’t tell which is which either, and it would’ve been so helpful and more clear to just use a stitch marker lol
To anybody interested the seller informed me they are now selling their patterns on their own website! www.anniesewingstudio.com or look up “Annie’s Sewing Studio” Congrats to her!
Omg yes I crochet, haven’t taken a break cuz got nothing else to do lol😂😂😂 I haven’t knit it a long time so might try it again love the tops you’ve made🫶🫶💕
@@Hi_peeps Wow good for you, seems like you’ve been busy!! I definitely recommend getting back into knitting, I love being able to switch back and forth with new ideas ✨
