Started about 2 weeks ago; learned a lot from this vid. I never even knew there was a second SBA, the in game combos never covered it. All versions of the back special being projectile immune is also good to know. Seems like the patch yesterday changed a lot about the game but even if some combos change the fundamentals are still great to know. Thanks for the video.

Wow, really big respect to you for this huge project. I've never seen such a detailed guide with so many different characters. It was the counterplay parts that surprised me the most. As an example of the Nier Counterplay part, I still play today against many master players who have no idea what to do against death and don't exploit the gaps. Big respect to you, very good video!🙏

I am new to GBVSR and just found out about this channel. I feel like your videos are seriously underrated. Anyone who struggles finding direction in this game should start at these videos.
I have some weird inconsistencies with linking 22H from 2H antiair. is there a specific timing I have to cancel into so it links or a height I need to aim for? everytime I try to link them on Counterhit it ends up not connecting, is there another link I can do from this that might be easier to do on counterhit?
You can link into 22H off CH 2H if the opponent is close (right above you) or if both hits of 2H connect (which requires later timing on the 2H). The 2nd of 2H is the more consistent visual queue that usually confirms into 2H. You may be getting single hits if 2H hits at the very edge. If you aren't sure if you will get both hits of 2H, you can go straight into stance cancel from the 1st hit of 2H and go for the standard anti-air route: 2H(1) > 5U > td.2H > f.M > 236M

Cool video! From a quick glance, I think you forgot to mention that some characters reversals are only invincible at startup, making their application different compared to fully invincible ones (i.e can't contest meaty fireballs or can lose to air buttons even when used as an anti-air).
