This is where I try and help those who think they can't cook, cook. Cooking for Dads creates video recipes for the visual learner. Whether you've cooked for years or this is your very first attempt you will find these recipes easy to make and delicious to eat. We attempt to remove as much of the measuring as possible and adjust any recipe to be quick accessible. So prop your laptop up on the counter top and just follow along. You will have a perfect smiling and happy family in no time.
So enjoy and let us know what you think. If you make one of our dishes, take a photo and send it to us. We'll use it at the end of one of the episodes.

I made this recipe the first time around 14 years ago after I came back home from the US. It’s such a big staple in my kitchen and everybody is always amazed by them. It’s the best recipe!!! Thank you so much for sharing! 😁
I've known about this for a while but have never done it, thanks for the reminder! You probably already know this but you can grill watermelon slices and they turn out great as well!
Прекрасно! Все чисто і акуратно, руками не торкаємось, бо не всім подобається, коли кухар бере шматочки руками, фу, я такого не люблю. А цей спосіб хороший, до м'якоті руками ніхто не торкається.
Does anyone now why it is touted as high in calcium, magnesium, and vit c but all the supplements and bulk powders online do not show any of this on the lable information. I am wondering if it is the powerhouse as they claim, I see this with moranga powder as well. No labels at all show any vitamins. If it had these they would be showing it on the label to help sell. Does anyone have an explanation or clarification thanks.
It was actually pretty good. I was just a little surprised. Thousands have cooked them like this. Try a small batch and let me know what you think. You can actually buy stinging nettles in stores now
Thank you very much for this confirmation! We have bought four 18-20" 36" deep pots for our tomatoes and I will be re-potting soon! Do they need to be buried deep or fill the container to the top ? By the look of the roots on your's they went down rather than spreading out. What a massive percentage, well done!
I remember when you first uploaded this. Just had to look it up again because Pillsbury has a kit for monkey bread now and it was junk! So clearly i have to remake it from the recipe i remember from 14 years ago! Thank you so much for still having this uploaded and your website still up!
That is *NOT* a 'French Dip'! That's a French _'Damp'._ The _'Dip part'_ of French *DIP* means you're actually *_DIPPING_* the sandwich in the sauce. (do I really need to tell you this?)
Have you since tried to plant the tomatoes deeper into the pot and add soil as they get taller? That way they have a ton of time to develop really deep roots.
@@cookingfordads ok thanks! I have everything I need so I’ll give it a try. I also have some heavy duty aluminum flashing, I thought I’d practice with thAt first - or does aluminum not respond the same way to hammering?
@@thirdstreetmusic ha! I just found out that it’s very easy to melt aluminum with a propane torch! I did get a basic bowl shape, but also had a few crimps and folds along the rim. When I tried to anneal it - with the torch held a fair distance off and constantly moving, I did get a melt and change to the aluminum
At 200 miles the brakes no longer worked, replacing them was a pain in the ass and expensive. I don't recommend this bike just because of the crap brakes it comes with from the factory, they are poop.
Garbage meal even for frugal living, why are we doubling up on carbs in the first place? eggs are cheap and give you protein, have beans or rice with scrambled eggs.
I can see your point. Eggs aren't as cheap as they used to be here in Minnesota, even at Aldi. But they are a good deal and I do try and avoid carbs now. You'll have to give me a little break as this was 9 years ago. We are living in a different world now. :-)
@@cookingfordads I wasn't attacking you, if it came off that way it wasn't my intention. There is nothing wrong with your recipe, I'm just pointing out in general I think we can do better from a nutrition point of view without drastically impacting the food budget.
Hey Rob, I remember watching this original recipe video many years ago when I was in college and out on my own for the first time. I made this meal for myself and felt accomplished afterwards because it was the first thing I cooked on my and by myself. As I’m typing this I’m sitting in my own home and have a career and that meal was a long time ago. Glad to see you’re still producing content. Thank you for all your hard work!
Wow, thank you so much for the encouragement. Somedays I wonder if the past 16 years have been worth it. Stories like yours really encourage me. Just this morning I was praying if I should just give it all up. I really appreciate the feedback. Blessings to you and your house and career.
Merry Christmas, Rob! all the best to you and your family for the holidays and through 2024. Why yes, we have having prime rib for our Christmas dinner today, love seeing this video is still available. Thank you, again 🙂
