Open Fifth (O5) is a critically acclaimed all-male a cappella group comprised of 17 undergraduate gentlemen from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Founded in 2013, Open Fifth has catapulted to national recognition with 5 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award (CARA) nominations, most recently for its holiday EP "Snowed In" for Best Holiday Album, Best Holiday Song, and Best Male Collegiate Solo competing against names like Pentatonix. The group is well known for its three studio publications including its flagship album, "Late Night", professional music videos, and national tours of cities such as Chicago, Indianpolis, Cinncinnati, and Cleveland in December, 2016. Since its beginning, Open Fifth has been dedicated to live performance, striving make each song an experience with high-spirited energy and focus on audience involvement. I admire all these voices. Im a barritone naturally but sing bass with the choir at church. Perfect harmony, and the bass sounding powerful but no over bearing. Good blend of chest and head tones.
