I have ordered a vintage genuine Cowichan cardigan It wasn't the pattern I originally dreamt of, BUT I wanted a certified genuine one rather than one I wasn't sure about being made from the Cowichan people.
I've seen this lady on knitting videos. She has such a beautiful spirit and so much wisdom about fibers and her craft. I would love to learn more from her. Thanks for posting.
Would it be considered cultural appropriation for an outsider to learn to make these as well? And I don’t mean to sell or anything like that- more in the context of a fiber arts historian
