There’s more that goes into a child than providing a shelter. As a mom I also have to sacrifice my time because my time is critical for the development of my child’s mind and emotions. There’s a lot involved with parenting outside of shelter. At the end of the day I need to show my kid that building a bond with him is just as important as my other responsibilities. When I come home I need to put the phone down and engage with him.
