love this video, great to see all the original PC to AG, i would love just a little more detail explanation (just me being bad) like eye color, hair part left or right , brow type lined or feathered. i really appreciated this video to give me a better understanding of what to look for.🙂. honestly the classic mold is so weird now. my best example of this is the new classic mold lips have like no color at all. if you search up a mattel molly from like 2013, u can tell that her lips are pinker, she has more face paint, her eyes are more ovaly, and her face is chubbier. idk if any of that made sense but if it did please tell me you know what im talking about!! 😭
Eyebrows make SUCH a difference - i agree that the Joss mould looks intimidating on the 90s twins, but Joss herself looks so sweet and endearing. I think it's not just the bushiness, it's more the way they're angled.
The head replacement limits are honestly anxiety inducing for me - makes me handle my Lindsey and Jess even more carefully, and I'm just waiting for the day Caroline joins the list (and god knows basically every Caroline on the market could use a head replacement, too.) As far as the kids and pets in my life know, those 3 dolls do not exist in my collection. 😆
Even though you hated on the only AG LE doll I really like (I bought not one, but *two* of the Shimmering Silver dolls because I wanted to cut the hair and change the lip color on one and I maintain that the Shimmering Silver doll is GORGEOUS)...I thoroughly enjoyed the video :-) The beautiful thing about collecting these dolls is we don't all have to agree on everything, right?

I always felt like JLY 22 seemed like a girl who would bully me in 4th grade 😅. No idea why, but I always found her intimidating. I have 19. It's been 20 years and I still don't know how I feel about the Felicity eyes 🤣.
I wish I could get a 48 for $150. I’m so sad I waited to look for her - I didn’t know she was that much $ or desired until I started trying to get her. I’ve loved her and 36 for a long while. Really fell in love with them from DeenaandBeena’s collection videos.
I was just talking on another post about the lack of usage of the Addy mold. I think American Girl is trying to find a new "staple" AA mold to represent the brand. Compared to the Addy mold, Makena, Claudie, and Sonali all have more "acceptable" features by our society's standards (Smaller noses, slimmer cheeks, etc). I feel like American Girl has even been playing with using Josefina as a mold they can turn to for their AA dolls with the releases of Truly Me. I hope they start using Addy more, because there are people out there that look like Addy and should be represented in a brand that's supposed to represent America.

I love all my dolls for different reasons. You have a great collection, it is amazing that the older dolls can still be found in such great condition.. Do you have other types of dolls?
Hey Chris, I really enjoy your casually sitting down in front of the camera with your dolls! I feel like tha t WORKS for you and your channel! It’s very comfortable. Your 11, is beautiful! It reminded of the time that I did have a brand new, in box, 11! But I was made to feel bad about collecting dolls. As an adult and ma de to think that it is an absolutely expensive hobby! Thus, I w as pressured to sell her- which I did. I regret doing so now. But I’ve since moved into my own place, and I’m now enjoying building my doll collection in peace! Thanks for making AG doll videos and I look forward to seeing your videos in the new year!

my fave doll in your collection is 45 she’s so gorgeous!!!!!😭😭 I have 49 and 67 and I love them so much. and for your video style I think I prefer the format in this video, I find it more relaxing and chill than having the camera just on the doll😁
I love your collection! I only had the named dolls when I was younger, but I've since gotten a few JLYs and I just love being able to choose their names and personalities. I've heard that AG will be releasing more TMs so I'm hoping we will get more with natural hair colors, I don't hate the colored hair but I don't want any myself. I just got a JLY7 in a Facebook lot, she has the full pie bangs which I love but her limbs were loose so she's my project doll now! I'm excited to learn how to restring on her.
Oh also I ordered my CYO with the Addy mold! Seeing your CYO Sabrina really convinced me to get her, the Addy mold is just so sweet and I can't wait for her to arrive 🥰
