I got to watch the race, live there in Slinger for the first time. It started off somewhat slow as there were 5 cautions in the first 17 laps. Once the field dwindled and time went by, things calmed down and it was a great race. During practice, I thought #15 and #51 were favorites to win because they had monster fast cars that stuck. But the fastest qualifier ended up winning the race (have to watch the video to see who it is). Great time in Slinger.
I was actually there, for the first time in my life. It was quite the experience. I grew up at short track racing as my dad was a mechanic for a local driver in the U.P. of Michigan. I had a great time watching all of the practice and qualifying, but the race was spectacular. The speeds those cars could achieve on the banked, quarter mile oval was impressive. I spent some quality time with my dad and brother-in-law. Fun time, even though it was a 4-hour drive to watch it. I recommend watching a race at Slinger, if you are a fan.
You guys are a tough crowd. She was given the opportunity to race and took it. I’d do the same thing and at least try? No? I don’t think she’s telling everyone she’s the best or anything. I think she was pressured to rise through the ranks too quickly. It has been destructive with others as well. Idk, just a thought.
Never cared for Kyle much although he is a great racer but he's never been short on opinions. He knows the series is hurting, he knows they've lost the racing that made the sport great. Start over, let teams and technology loose .
There are plenty of guy's that run in the back of the pack in the cup series wrecking every week also because their cars aren't that good but you don't hear nobody complaining about it. I guess it's because she's a female 🤷
