I don’t think I’ve seen a Cahir/Yennefer deck since Cahir was changed, I’ve still got the double Yen version with Syanna from Fuchsia Briefs in my decks I think bc I liked it so much 😂 looks like it’s time to update it now though!
I loooooooooove when people play creative stuff! I do believe you should play whatever you want, even if you enjoy mill :D but I am just happy when I see people experiment with wild stuff!
I will say that Faeria should be added to this list. Last I checked you can still get games for it, and it's use of a board is so unique. Also Duelyst, it has two different active versions of the game.
Bomblin I hope you are annoying all the decision makers in CDPR at every opportunity about a gwent 2! If only they had an employee that still plays gwent, makes fun content and has high hopes for its future....

Ah! One of my favourites! But I carry the crow package, with Operator and Axel. Usually I win more games with crows, although the drummond buff is really good addition.
It’s a pity that the balancing council is not more creative. Gwent has more than 1500 cards and people are buff or nerf always the same 200. There are so many barely played cards which could need a change. Yennefer of Vengerberg or Yennefer Illusionist for example. Renew is limited to 9 Provisions, so it’s much to expansive at 12. At ten Provisions it could create some nice ideas. Sarah and Hansi deserve a buff. We can do nothing wrong when we buff cards like Olaf, Bloody Baron, Madman Lugos and a lot of others. Instead we see every month a buff or nerf to Slave Driver, Nauzica Sergeant and so on. The influencers in the dominating Russian and Chinese communities are really boring.
The only argument for skull / TA is that draig survives, however you have no way of searching for / playing him from deck because he is not a warrior, meaning that this is a very inconsistent strategy. The deck kinda struggles with consistency as is, so thinning a card and setting up graveyard early is necessary to have chance to win round 1 / to compensate for losing on even round 1
This is almost like the deck I've been using to climb lol. Isn't it better to have Mask instead of Lamp so you can search for Highland Warrior and discard Veteran/Greatsword from hand if you draw them?
I mentioned it briefly on the video: I did consider other options. Discard would increase a consistency but I kind of don’t want to discard anything round 1. Tactical advantage might be better since using it on raid warrior might force enemy to use tall removal on it (so you can replay it with fucusya for example) and it gives you 1 more point in the worst round you play (lamp too)
Normally we can laugh about BC but this month I couldn't see the fun in it. They killed 3 different types of decks buffed the 2 strongest factions. Made the strongest decks even stronger. It is a sad month for gwent..
