He married actor Richard Long’s sister Barbara and got folded into the large Long clan. He and Richard became best friends. He and Barbara had a daughter, Janet, who died four years ago. It being during the pandemic, her son Jackson held her memorial on Zoom and it is posted here on RU-vid, search on Janet Thompson funeral. She was quite a woman. See the memorial service and all the great family photos near the end of- lots of her father Marshall thru the years.
