2 things. 1 Northern Arizona is very different. Forests. Snow in winter. Grand Canyon. And 2. The vast bulk of Maine is forested. This is owned by primarily paper companies, but they do allow public use in many places. Seafood and coast is only part of the state. Lots of folks live inland in rural areas or small towns. Thank you.
Connecticut usually makes the list as the most unfriendly state in America, but I happen to know the most friendly people that live there and they all move to Massachusetts. So that's why Connecticut did not make the list this time.
I guess South Africa avoided the list on the technically that over 90% of its population are victims of racism and apartheid. There's no denying that white people in South Africa are probably the most racist people in the world. It really amazes me that the South African government hasn't rounded them up and deported them to Europe yet. I suspect they will someday possibly in the next few years. Although this process will be painful for South Africa, it's probably necessary for the true South African people to finally escape the poverty and slums they were forced into during the colonial and apartheid eras.
Denver's alright if you like drunks in your doorway, bums ,migrants ,stoned drivers ,and stupid taxes ,crappy laws and lack of great paying jobs in every field except tech,if your in tech or grow weed, denver is great😂😂😂

It cracks me up to hear people want to move from this place. I'm from the Midwest where the land is just flat, no mountains, hills, just nothing. Since I've been here my favorite thing to do on the weekend is hop in the car and drive somewhere to go hiking. You don't get this beautiful nature in many places. Long story short, turn off the news and go touch grass. Portland is still amazing. While you move someone's else who appreciates this is gonna take you place.
No wonder my country , Myanmar is on the list. Most of the burmese majority are brainwashed by military propaganda for more than 50 years, drilling us to racist against islamic muslims, hindus or indians and we even have hatred to Chinese, eventhough we literally recognize them as 'poukphaw' means brother who born together. We even racist against our own bamar people because of skin colour. Burmese from coastline areas tend to discriminate and joke the Burmese living in central dry zones because of their brown and dark skin. Eventhough it's for fun, it's hard to get laughed and being humiliated just because of your skin and tone of voice.
There's a reason why many refer to that place as "Screw York". And if I'm gonna pay that much for food, it had better be more frickin' impressive than tacos. LOL
These neighborhoods are often referred to as “urban jungles.” But, they are far more dangerous than regular jungles because in these areas, the monkeys have guns.
Most Hospitals are Racist places to work and tend to hire mainly White Women. But the racist places ive been are: Arkansas, Mississippi, South Carolina, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Texas with mainly hiring, Alabama, Georgia but not Atlanta, Louisiana but mainly with hiring. Tennessee. But Racism is everywhere.
I live in Minnesota. It would be a terrible place to retire. Extremely high taxes. High crime. High home prices and insanely high rent. Health care has gone downhill as many doctors are fleeing the state. The only really good thing is all the lakes. MN has a lot of lakes. But then property taxes on lake homes are as much as 3x higher than a normal house. Do not retire in MN. You will regret it.
-Is there anywhere to retire to cheaply where it ISN'T HOT?! I Hate, hot humid weather! Anywhere where their climate is cool most of the time or atleast like the US with seasonal tempts.
I have lived in Harlingen TX since 2022 which is about 30 miles from Brownsville TX which sits right on the border. I have had no issues living close to a border city and have spent time in Brownsville multiple times and have had no issues.
Sea levels are not going to rise. Have you ever taken a cup of water with ice cubes in it as the ice cubes melt the water does not rise. The ice is dense and holds mass to make the water level stay the same as it melts. It does not rise. Try it yourself with a science experiment. It’s actually really neat to see it not change. that’s the same thing that’s happening in our ocean they will not rise
