Firstly, I would complain bitterly against the damning of Diesel, when the decisions were made in many cases 10-20 years ago when the CO2 output was the main consideration. So yes, I would be extremely enthusiastic about any innovation which can extend the life of my diesel Car and benefit the environment. I will never be able to purchase an electric Car in my retirement, so to ban my Diesel Car would be a prison sentence.
