That would be super cool if you could do a tutorial on how you did that song on the Polybrute. I’ve tried to do something similar with the matrix arpegiator but obviously there must be something that I don’t understand because I can’t do anything that remotely sounds like that.
Even after presenting the Polybrute 12 ... the Polybrute 6 is a wonderful sounding synthesizer. Ok, 12 voices, an amazing polyphonic aftertouch keyboard, all these are fantastic features but at a much higher prize range. I hope Arturia will continue the Polybrute 6 👍
Especially the extremely expressive new keyboard on the 12 is very tempting indeed! Nonetheless the original Polybrute is still amazing as ever to me as well :)
This is the most deeply felt arp session I have ever experienced... It just reflects exactly my intimate connection with synth... Thank you!!!! It would be incredible amazing if you can share how did you build your setting and the parameters you play with in live. I would love to performance something like this.... It's like a dream.
What settings did you use for this? Sounds great, I have had trouble getting sounds like this where it has good low end but a bit of high end(is that from reverb?)
Thanks! Hmmm it's all in the patch design really. For this one I add high end with the second filter, routed in parallel and slowly turned to high pas which lets trough some of the high frequencies. Using a little of the sub on osc 2 helps to fatten up the low end. I also love to boost highs a little with eq, not sure if I did that when mixing this as it's a little while ago. Ohh and noise to filter is one of the secret weapons of the Polybrute for me, it just makes everything sounds more alive.
@@Winterdagen Thank you! That makes sense, I've been forgetting to use the noise to filter, but have noticed it has some really cool qualities. I'll try that out more. Seems like this synth has some great sculpting possibilities, I've just had a tough time to get it sounding less bland. Recently I have experimented with some of my guitar pedals like UA echo station and that's helping though
