I have seen the clip of her talking about the Orville on the inside of you podcast and she wasn’t acting like she wouldn’t return she was just explaining her experience making the show so far and she wasn’t criticizing Seth’s writing just that him wanting to write every episode himself and that often times held up production cause doctor who another science fiction show I love will have guest writers so the showrunner at the time isn’t left writing the entire season themselves and it felt like by her statement that he didn’t want to have guest writers writing episodes and that explains why they have only made 33 episodes in 6 years at the time of the interview
I want Anaya to be with her father. To keep the "will they/wont they be back together" going (I love that), Gordon to start seeing someone (romantically)real. Too much to write I want to see. Ja'Loja
I hope the entire cast returns but it’s been a while so some may have other commitments like the head engineer and chief medical officer are on the Ted prequel and if it gets a season 2 that could make them unable to return and my question now is where will the show actually stream since Seth making a name for himself on peacock it could stream there either by universal buying the show or Disney licensing it out to them cause I think Seth has hit the ceiling over at Disney and done all he can there and it’s time to move on since family guy is the only show of his left on fox
I loved 3rd seasons in depth and more lore pieces more mysteries but wanted the comedy elements to be more tho i know that seth mcfarlane wanted to be more serious it's just hilarious when crew members have some shenanigans from time to time. S4 gonna be fire nonetheless!
I mean, it is a alternative to the age old problem of incentive that is why communism won't work unless we are in a post scarcity sociaty. Also this leaves them in a lighter version of the direct democracy episode. And the second nine command should be dirt poor for being a cheater

@@antonyouten5447 Social Credit is an objective value provided to a person by an outside authority whereas reputation is a subjective value provided to a person by people they interact with, and each interacting person defines that value on their own. Example for clarification: You want to build a house. With social credit you have to be high enough to get permission to build a house. With reputation you need only find a builder willing to build your house, some builders might turn their nose up at you while others might be eager to work with you. Objective and assigned from a central authority versus subjective and assigned on an individual basis.

If she ends up not returning... it wouldn't feel the same... having already lost Alara... the rotating cast of female stars on the show is getting to be a weird situation.
I can completely understand why the actors would be upset and want to move on. This show has been around since 2018 and we are still not even into season 4 yet. I also think its a mistake to move away from the comedic aspect of the show, it worked!! Very well. Thats what set the orville apart from all the other sci fi series and movies.
I remember this scene now. I can't remember the episode. All I remember is that they were trying to get their replicator online to make some emergency food. 😀 I can't wait for season 4... I'll have to get on Hulu to see it, but I can sign up for a month and binge it. 😄
I would absolutely love to see her leading the Orville! They are veterans and war heros in the show now and where do the paths lead from here? She was the glue
As a performer I totally understand this viewpoint. I may pencil in a gig I enjoy, but if a well paid job comes up for that date I need a strong yes or no from the original gig. Hopefully she'll be there full time, but even if she can't commit we could always see her on the odd episode as the Captain of her own ship.
Disney doesn't love anything that gives hope and teaches values. They openly destroy it. I am worried, but not because of the actors, but of what Disney will do to contaminate The Orville with their agenda.
We can't expect the actors to pass up other opportunities for movies or shows just on the off chance that the Orville may get another season. If she doesn't have any other engagements I'm sure she will return.
JP gets a call from Seth McFarland to join the cast of the Orville as a new cast member as a union officer that takes over the Helmsman spot once held by a former crew member who died in the live of duty.
my dad asked Jess Bush (Chapel from SNW) at STLV why people go into acting because Brent Spiner made it sound like the hours are long, if no project no work...no income. She was nice and humored him and said that acting is just fun and how she enjoys working with Ethan and Anson. I can understand Palicki's frustration. I hope she comes back because her character really influences the ship, the show and more importantly...Ed's character since the two go together like salt and pepper.
I have to be honest, my love for the Kelly character declined precipitously the further we ventured into NH. It would be great to see everyone back, but I'd be fine if she "decided to join a different ship." Let Ed spread his wings.
