@@nadleshistoricmilitaryfoun1618 take your time I know that videos and editing can take awhile also do you happen to know what ww2 us raincoat Chris Evans was wearing in captain America the first avenger before he went and rescued all the allied soldiers from the hydra base it was in the scene where he was drawing something while it was raining I do remember that the raincoat had a belt and it was made of some type of olive drab colored cloth fabric.
Somthing that would be really nice to see is videos on specialized roles, not too much content out there for those special roles for reenactment. Stuff like Aidmen, combat engineers, war correspondents, anti tank, etc
Proper trigger and muzzle control go a long way. I will personally flick the safety on or wait until im empty most often. Thank you, I should.have mentioned more of that in the video!
There is one or two shops that make them but it's a process to get them all together. I'm not familiar with Tanaka? If it's airsoft, it'll work for appearance but even gas blow back guns are really quiet compared to blank fire stuff
I'm lucky. I have a BFA for my M-1 rifle from a prop house in the 60's. They were made to use on the T.V. show Combat. Man it works great! See y'all at Wendle ford.
the Thompson used to be his baby back when you could get the bfong blanks easier and before he hurt his shoulder. Now its a really expensive decoration for his jeep.
You are correct sir, the 3-cell did not see any use within the MTO/ETO. Also, the M3 (which came first) DID have the cocking handle. The M3A1 (the improved model) had the cocking handle removed as it proved to be a weak point in the M3’s initial design.
As a German man hiding behind a stone wall, I can confirm that Lady Luck was on the side of Captain Nadle. Good show gentlemen! It was a real treat to be on the receiving side of democracy.
Modern tactical/low port. I first opened a thread about that in 2006 on the pozzinet and the absolute butt hurt and frothing at the mouth from supposedly grown up men!
I think I'm one of the sick individuals that prefer the leggings and type 2 type three service shoe over the double buckle for me its the usgi WWII look leggings wools shit is my preferred look
The Type II service shoes are actually the Russet colored boots not the Roughouts which are the Type III service shoes. The Type I is from WWI and were leather sole shoes.
The undated canteen cups would all be the rolled rim variants and would be from before 1917. Before 1917 there were no maker stamps or date same with the canteens. And there were 3 styles of canteens that were found during WWII the M1910 horizontal seam canteens the M1917 vertical seam canteen (which was used throughout WWII) and the M1942 "ringed" canteen (Which also saw use all through the war). Oh and you had the M1910 canteen cups with the rolled rim and stamped aluminum cup which saw use from 1910 to the 1960's and the M1942 canteen cup which had the unrolled rim which like the M1910 cup was used until the 1960's and had a stainless steel stamped cup.
