Honestly MGS1, it's simple but ambitious for its time, the gameplay still holds up (though if you're not used to d-pad input it could be awkward) and it provides the right context to see everything else through
It has officially been…… 9…….. years…… Thank you all for enjoying the video I really appreciate it, I did not expect such support. You’re all diamonds… Let’s prepare our selves for Death Stranding 2 now, Kojima will cook once again….
I love how even the lyrics of the song fit with the game. The line "You can't even say my name" fits with the virus that stops people from speaking their own language. Also the whole being "invisible" fits with Venom's character so much, his true self is invisible, he's hiding behind his amnesia with the mask of big boss.
HEAVY SPOILERS IF YOU NEVER PLAYED MGSV: Has anyone else really thought how much this song really fits into MGSV and to Venom Snake? Specially for the Medic. Not only because it sounds from the 80s, but because the lyrics talk about struggles of identity and wanting to be recognized. I mean, this part really fits to the Medic if he was talking to himself: When you can't even say... my name Has the memory gone? Are you feeling numb? Go on call... my name I can't play this game, so I ask again Will you say... my name? Has the memory gone? Are you feeling numb? Or have I become invisible? Like the Medic feels the struggle to be recognized, like he never existed and now only Venom Snake exists. And then, "Nuclear" fits more to the Venom Snake persona
Duran Duran is a Music Tape that can be found on the Mother Base after you finish Mirage mission (the one where you recover all the members from the old mother base)
Duck anyone who says this isn't a metal gear song, it's about how Konami treated Kojima ❤. You can take his name off the box but you cant take his soul out game.
