I have hiked up tgo Scout landing, but didnt go on. It was in February, and the trail beyond was covered with snow and ice. Just watching your hike, scares me.
Kkkkkkk Eu comecei assistindo o vídeo e dizendo, nossa que trilha fácil, até concretada é. Isso nos primeiros minutos, pois depois quase passo mal só de olhar 😂😂😂
I hiked up to angels landing and did not get a next day permit, but your video is absolutely amazing. It's showed me what it would really be like. I laughed at Babe please hold on. I am now not 100 percent sure I would do this holding a camera. Thank you for the video!
Great viddy. I wish i could've seen the complete return ascent to ascertain the grade and level of difficulty. You two looked like you were heading up at a nice clip. Youth? Or perhaps serious training? What time did you start back up? Did you go to Phantom Ranch? What kind of training did you do? Do you live in the SW so training year-round is available? What time of year was this? Thanks again for posting this.
I would have recorded the ascent but was running out of battery. We are in our 40's. We live in Houston TX and trained legs and road a stationary bike for training leading up to this. This was on April. It was a tough climb.
As one of people who helped reroute and rebuild Skyline Trail I'm glad you enjoyed it. If you didn't know the tall waterfall is Burnett falls named after Jim Burnett the same guy whose statue is at the Heritage center. The smaller falls is Silvey Falls named after Christy Silvey the park naturalist who passed away back in 2003.
Guys, you rock! my salute to your courage and big hearts! On Zion's trails where angels tread, With every step, I'm filled with dread. My legs jiggling, heart in my throat, On Angel's Landing, I bravely float. I look left, I look right, a breathtaking view, A soaring eagle, in the sky so blue. Am I a fool to venture so high? Or does this moment touch the sky?
I’m watching the sun rise in Zion thinking about a lottery try for an Angel’s Landing permit. The hike, if you can even call it a hike, doesn’t look fun. It looks stressful. @@herooutdoorchannel1582
1:32 - This is my sweetie on the trail (with her camera). As we got to the second tunnel, we kissed tenderly….. realizing that our love, to be together, was bigger, much much bigger, in fact Grand Canyon-sized, than anything we’d ever known before or since. I have loved her in howling desert night storms, on desolate picturesque beaches in Borneo, at the top of the Eiffel Tower, and in bright sunlit Tuscan fields at dawn. She has reached inside me and found the solitary man who was always reaching out for a connection; I reached inside of her and found, oh happy day, the brave woman who sought both protection and commitment. Now we live together in a universe where mutual happiness sustains us every day of out lives!!!
Really enjoying your vidoes mate. We have subscribed in support! We know how hard it can be to produce good content and get your RU-vid off the ground. We're a small channel too and going through it ourselves. So really wanted to show our support. Keep up the good work! Wish you success
this is way cool to watch!! We were just their June 2 '23 only went to the 1.5 mile rest but watching this we will go further next year!! going up was challenging 🥵to say the least!!
Love the video. One suggestion, get rid of the music and let us enjoy the pure sound of the hike. Love hearing foot steps on the rocks and trail. The music takes away from that. But your time stamps and trail markers are excellent. Also like the frame of reference with the female in front of ya. Get to see how her footing is effected by the trail and steady pace of it all.
@@herooutdoorchannel1582 I will watch it. Also put that its music free in the heading area. Lot of people like myself out there that love the real sounds. I use to walk in the desert all time and just loved hearing that gravel rock crack and crunch. It was so pleasing.
