That's sweet if you scratch built it ,show piece very cool I'm going to start my build. Just seeing what other people are doing with these wagons. I have a bunch of scrap steel just need to get the wheels
@@522design some guy ran my little red radio flyer wagon over at the Turlock auto swap meet. The bucket I can save but the front rim is damaged beyond repair. I'm going to build a chassis for the bucket, and some how make room for a smaller cooler folding chair and umbrella for those got day's. If I can fit a 4 burger BBQ pit that would also be cool. I know I'm pushing it I might as well build a trailer. Some of that stuff could come on and off. I do have a few broken wheel barrow buckets also. Might be building some type of truck wagon t-buxket truck wagon deal? Not shire yet once I get the wheels. I have lots and lots of of scrap metal. My brother is a scraper metal recycler guy. It's just a matter of cutting it all out and welding it together. Weight is a big factor I want to make it light enough to pull or push?
That's one lucky kid and here's another fine example of craftsmanship very clean bro absolute craftsmanship hard to come by these days I'm trying to get my skill level to that still but I don't have no to teach me I just learn from what I see you guys the seasoned Craftsman do and the tips you guys give us all the rest one can say is from the seat of the pants awesome job bro. PS I like the DeLorean feel you get when you look at it.
Lol.. Its all good.. Im starting on one well 2 really. One im going make into a rattie go-kart. And this 1930 one just a wagon, going hamer it on the grownd. With sum cool steering and fix the original wheels and reuse them... Your videos give me inspiration for sure thank you
@@522design thank you I know the hour's are long but you just get better as the second or third one gets build. If you made a jig you could build a few a year and sell one to found more. I live in California bay are there is a shop in San Francisco that builds 32-34 street rods they look like what Henry Ford would have built but with all the modern up grads he only build 6 a year and he has a long list of people that already paid up front. BB king bought one Gorge Lucous bought one Clint Eastwood has one and many other. You cam collect old refrigerators for sheet metal. Old metal frame beds you can get the angle iron from them people are always getting ride of that metal for free. Thought I would share that information. I'm a welder or forced retire for medical reason but I could try and build something like that. I built a had peddle front end for my wheelchair that my front wheel are off the ground an 1" to give it the three wheel bike ride. This was years ago When there was no RU-vid I had drew everything on paper not knowing if it would even work. When I was teacher's aid at the community college I built a small model size hot rod. I always wanted to step it and build a bigger size like what you have built there so I can show them at car shows with other bike's I have. Plus I could store those away easier than my full size car's I have. Thank you so much for sharing your engineering art work I'm very inspired by what you done now time for me to try and make something like what you built.
SNOOP U 2 thanks for the kind words, this was literally kind of last minute project, I prefer building wagons and parts for them , my main focus now is mini bomber seats , I hope you build one soon , please let me know when it’s done I’d love to see it , thanks again cheers 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
@@522design okay thank you keep up the great work, I don't have instant gram but I will try and find you are very talented. Right now I pulled out this wooden old model double wing air plane that I started with a 2x4 shaved it down with a file and used some scrap wood for the wing's. I had in mind to put it on top of are flag pole to spin with the wind. I live 10 minute drive from the bay so we get plenty of wind. I have let it set for a long time and started to get more detail parts it needs kinda have many ending projects. I got motivated yesterday by watching your video's and other's. It's very cold today but I did go out side and look to see what all we had in are scrap metal pile. I have some angle iron and lots of rebar. I do have lots of pencil rod put away in are second garage I'll have to get my brother to dig it out. Thanks for replying 522design, I wrote it down on paper your redesign so when I do get on instant gram I can look at your things you made. Maybe I can post my thing's to. I have lots of old small kid's bike's that I collected over the year's. I found a wagon that I for got we even had when I was looking for what we had my brother collects scrap metal to recycle in the summer he did take a truck load so he is in the process of rebuilding his scrap metal supplies plus people know he recycles it so people drop there metal off to him. We do have places in the California bay area that sell brand new steel. If I can wait to get some recycle steel I will do that before I go down and buy some if I'm down to where the project does need fresh new steel I will go get it. The only thing is when you buy from them I have to spend $100 buck's or more or it's 50 I for get I haven't bought still in a long time it said it in the office Albany California Steel. That's where I used to deal with that company.
Hi mate, do you know what offset front wheels you got from tractor supplies, I see they do two, have you got the part number, thank you for any info....
I was wondering if you had any videos on how you made the seat in the Daisy flyer? I just made my own "speed wagon", but need a seat and I'm open to better names for it as well. Please feel free to check it out: m.facebook.com/?_rdr#!/andrew.kapczynski/albums/10207449648193034/?ref=bookmarks
What paint did you use for the whitewalls? There used to be a guy out there in Italy I guess who sold paint for that purpose popular in the Vespa scooter crowd, but I guess has gone out of business. Looking to do something similar like that on my radio flyer project
