the only growth the counil know is debt growth. they are clueless to how a real free market economy works. thats why they have never done real work. coffee shops, unbacked currency and zero productive output ? the fate of the entire west depends on you buying an 80k home for 400k with 1990s wages.
I've been doing ancestry on and off, I've found I have family everywhere. From Germany, Irland, Scotland, England, Wales and probably a lot of other places over there. My direct line has gotten me too the hill country of Texas Usa closet city San Antonio. I have a lot of family that are from Lancashire so for the earliest is 1359. That is pretty awesome. Gives a great since and feeling comes from. sucks how these lands are so developed and not in a natural state like back in the days. Because wow the land looks so beautiful you can tell that there was some history there. You can feel the spirit even on a computer across the pond. But yes would love all I Can about this and other places.
I’m a Lancastrian from Whitefield although in 1964 I left Worsley for Canada . My heart will always be where I grew up. The warmth of Lancashire people cannot be replicated. Denise Kilner Victoria B.C.
Always proud of being lancastrian , then I went back to my home town of Oldham after 40 years , dear God what a mess , a multicultural hole , a once proud community and the cotton hub of the world decimated , will never go back .
Born in Oldham now in Rossendale A real Lancashire Lass and so very very proud of it This really is God's own country Love it, love it with all my heart The most beautiful people on the planet N
@@bensimpson2001 I wanted to despute you when I read your comment but remembered that I made my money away from Lancaster and haven't returned either. But that image at the end, oof. I recognise those wind mills next to the M6. It made me homesick AF.
Yea! The Lancaster canal gets recognised..and rightly so, as it was at the forefront of the industrial revolution driving the prosperity of the region forward - love that narrow boating earmarks leisure in the county! www.water-babies.co.uk
Where I was born 77 years ago. I loved my old home town of Preston but sadly have never ever returned, not for lack of wanting to. To late now! Liz Gablonski
