I started in a workplace that uses wenzel as cmm and quartis as a scanning/measurement program. I am trying to learn cmm through RU-vid videos because my supervisor to busy to teaching me about machine and I am doing this on my free times. Do you know any tutorial metarial for wenzel? I couldn't find anyting on RU-vid and I thought experienced guy like you might be know it. If you do so can you help me with sir? Much appreciated
Palpadores, sensores etc?
I have been trying to find this setting but not much luck. If the ZVp is turned on in the program and the same program is able to run on a Contura will it also work in ZVp, go back to default or error out?
+@kezi___ Thank you for taking the time to watch the video. However, we would like to clarify that this customer story is focusing on the production of engines powered by biogas and hydrogen. These engines are used to generate green energy contributing to the reduction of global emissions.
I'm so proud of our new O-INSPECT duo which can now be ordered. Our application team will also be happy to show you the endless possibilities of the new device. At last, inspection tasks can be easily automated.
A little bit more on 'part design' for achievable production would have been interesting...there's a lot to it - we see so much 5 axis machining that we all forget the importance of casting design and manufacture which is massively ridiculous!
As a professional engineer with a strong background in biomaterials, I am impressed by this technology. I do believe, however that until the technology is determined to be essentially flawless, an adequate sampling of each production lot is hand inspected to ensure that the AI is doing its job. By the way, it is usually not a failure in the high-tech process that causes problems, but rather problems with the stupid stuff. For example, S&N had a mass recall many years back on its hip implants, because the radius of the acetabular cup was far larger than the radius of the head of the greater trochanter so that rather than having a clearance of 0.0005", the clearance was a few hundredths of an inch causing the implant to fail.
