Have the same car and looking at the same setup. Can you detail your mids and highs. Also where are the amps/batteries and what do you have for electrical? Ever metered the setup?
It was a one time experience for me working on that car. But like he mentioned be patient and don’t be scared to pry a little. If the trim has never been removed before it might be a little snug due to it being in place for a long time. You got this!
Sorry for the late response, but I can’t recall the size of the terminals for that sub. If I’m not mistaken I used size 14 gauge wire to wire it down to 1ohm. I’m sure you can run 12 gauge just fine.
Hello, yes that is always an option to run dual power runs from the alternator to the battery. I currently just have one due to having my stock alternator. There is no such thing as overkill on having extra wire runs like you mentioned. The more the better. Thank you.
Nice video glad I came across it looks like you are familiar with the single sub setup I am new to anything more than a daily driver setup that was setup by an install shop anyway I decided a little over a year ago to get into competitive audio and I have been doing a complete overhaul on my entire car/system and I am looking for pointers, tips, tricks and help in doing things right if you get a chance check it out and let me know where I can improve I just started posting videos of the build today would love people more experienced to let me know where I can improve I'll be posting updates every week I would greatly appreciate you sending some knowledge my way throughout the build
Thank you I appreciate the support and definitely appreciate you being open to tips and ideas to help you with your build. I’ve always enjoyed my single sub set ups but I’m looking to one day run dual subs and hopefully make it windy in my car lol. Can’t wait to see your build!
@@synaudio9778 that is exactly what I want to I want a hurricane in my car lol I'm trying going to attend my first EVER show tomorrow the XS power show in Knoxville TN I'm hoping to meet other people that can help me with a 6 th order in my rear seat for 2 Tyrant 15
All the people in the comments dont understand song choice how boxs work nothing just put more power it wants 2500rms throw 100000000000 rms at it pussy lmao
For anyone who needs wiring info on a 24 Corolla Hybrid LE for LOC install! (No info online had to verify with NVX speaker polarity tool) RR speaker: Purple speaker wire to Blue radio wire POSITIVE White speaker wire to White radio NEGATIVE LR speaker: Pink speaker wire to Pink radio NEGATIVE Green speaker wire to Green radio POSITIVE
hey man am I supposed to run positive and negative wire from the the main battery to the lto or just the positive one and ground wire somewhere in the back?
@@chrisluvsuDepends on your wire size. And if it’s OFC or CCA. You can find the info online just google it. There’s a chart that’ll show you how many amps u need depending on wire and length
Im getting 2 of these, i have a 320 amp js alternators alt, but i get crazy voltage spikes, i sent it back for work, they replaced the regulator etc, and voltage still goes up to 15 16 even saw 17.5 v, so i plan to return it and run 2 of those batteries on my stock alternator, should be 120 amp and with 2 ill get 6k watts out of it apparently
Why did you only tap the signal from the left speaker? Is it unnecessary to go from both speakers? I have the same car with a similar setup (2 12inch subs, 1200watt amp, lc2i pro). Is your reasoning behind only using the left speaker because: his amp is a mono, something to do with ohms, or something else? Thank you
@titoham-DCXLs solid info. Thank you for the help. It's a Jeep Wrangler alternator that's been modified by singer. I'd imagine I could by pass the TIPM (which controls the voltage regulation) & run 2/0 with a 500 amp fuse on the line, straight to my lithium & from the the lithium to the distribution block so it can spread power out to all my amps. I'm new to this lithium world. That really shows my age. I remember back when 2000 watt amps were big & powerful back in my day
was told if i hook up from front battery and not at it want charge right n it would draing the agm. i have no space to run from alt its factory 150a alt
My main battery is in the trunk. I currently have the main battery ground and amp grounded to the chassis in the same spot. Can I also ground this lithium battery to that same spot?
I think I’m going to pick one up too. I have a mechman billet 370 alternator, an odyssey extreme AGM under hood, and an ioxus uc-31 at the moment. My voltage holds up pretty well with a JP23v2 on an SSA Evil 15 and a JP84 on the mids/highs but not quite as well as yours does! I think this battery would put the icing on the cake for my setup.
Hello @davidwood7170, so for the Corolla only the door speakers were installed with no sound deadner. Your more then welcome to add sound deadner to your vehicle for a better experience. Thank you, SYNAUDIO
im building one of these mini subs for temp bass (i need the space atm) once i get a 2nd car ill replace it with a bigboy system. but this is perfect for casual music etc.
I am still running the stock 150amp alternator with a big 3 on it and haven’t had any issues with my electrical system. I currently have a 3 year old XSPOWER D3400 under the hood. This little battery will definitely help your electrical. Thanks for your support SYNAUDIO
so what i am hearing is i dont need to upgrade my alternator if i have the lto and a upgraded agm battery if hes running over 6k. I am only wanting like 3-4k watts.
Yes you should be ok with an upgraded AGM main battery and an LTO for your build if you’re aiming for 4k. Let me know how it works for you. Thanks, SYNAUDIO
He is using the rear stock speaker connectión, so most likely he ís using a stock radio. If this car had n aftermarket radio, he wouldn't need that LC2.
I have a mechman 400, I’m going to run a salt 4 and 2 sfb 500.4s. I’m going to see how long one can last but it looks like I’m going to be good with just one, thanks for the quick review
@titoham-DCXLs hush up little guy I’m telling you what my voltage is with my 2 salt 200.4s, my sfb 500.4, my salt 4 and my tweeter amp is at when it’s at a 7 on the volume with this battery and my 2xs powers. If you could afford the setup you’d see when it drops down to 14.5-14.6
@titoham-DCXLs Keep talking to yourself idiot😂 I’m sure a internet warrior that can’t even afford my bass amp knows what all of my volt meters read at full tilt
My 2020 toyota Corolla rear door speakers sound so low that i hear the front way loud, and the rear sounds muffled.. at the sound shop they spliced onto the rear wire for the sub and my sub sounds week ! Could it be that the rear sound is designed to be low if so should i splice into the front speaker wires? I am so confused they only spliced into the left channel rear speaker and only have one rca to the amp wtf. I got screwed over 😅😅😅
Yes the signal to the rear speakers is neutered by the head unit. Unfortunately this is becoming standard in more and more cars. You want to splice into the wires for the front speakers to get signal to your LOC.
