It all started with 2 crafty gals (Stefanie and Maggie) that lived across the country, but have known each other their entire life, fell in love with sola wood flowers. It wasn't just the flowers themselves they fell in love with, they fell in love with the versatility of these flowers. The sola wood flowers look real, you can dye them whatever color your heart desires, and they are eco-friendly! They sparked a creativity that Maggie + Stefanie had not experienced before and that is saying a lot! Both gals have been in a creative business for over 10 years on their own and when they started to play with these amazing little wood flowers they fell head over heels in love! Everyday they get to go to their individual studios to create and share more of their love of these wood flowers!
thanks for this tutorial, very cool! how did you make the arch itself? i see you have it propped up using rope or something. making the arch seems like it would have been the hardest part of it all! anyhow, good work!

Stephanie, Hello! Thank you for all of your lovely RU-vid videos! I love your laid back and experimental attitude toward Sola flowers. Watching you has given me the courage to attempt to prepare Sola flowers for my daughter's bridal shower and also now for her wedding! My favorite flowers are Rosa and these are the ones my daughter wants for her bridal bouquet. Guess what? Today I dipped a 3 inch Rosa in Tuscan Red acrylic with a few drops of Burnt Umber Americana DecoArt paint, glycerin and water and then held it in my hand and blew it dry with a hair dryer. It did not unfurl at all! I'm so excited and couldn't wait to tell you, my one way, internet friend! Rita
Thank you so much!!! Making my daughter's bouquet for this coming fall, and she has a gorgeous topaz wand. Your video was so helpful, I am so excited! Thank you!! ❤
Question.. is it absolutely necessary to use all that greenery in everything? I do love green.. but soo many variations in 'GREEN' no real thought about what they represent as far as flora and fauna.. and then the flower seem to disappear... guess it isnt my style... im learning... wasn't trying to be mean. I just want to know why every tutorial on these flowers basically buries the flowers in greenery...
Very pretty I coudl see that haning from trees, an arch what a great accent. Add in some fairy lights or small battery operated candle in the middle for a dusk or evening event would be nice too.
I'm so making some of these for my backyard wedding, hanging different sizes from our trees using macrame cords with fairy lights. Thank you for the idea
I love your color combo! I am going to make these for my son's wedding - which is in a library venue. I will be putting these on the stairway along with lanterns and green vines!!! Thank you!
how bout this. give exact or close to measurements not I filled up to here n no one can see where the is nor do u say whatbsize cup that is. that's my biggest complaint of this channel if u truly want to help us give real recipes of paint mixtures. I mean wtf. really freak
Hi just wondering I’m doing my daughters flowers for her wedding do you always use that foam or should I use Styrofoam? I’m creating an arch outside on the gazebo.
