I have a basset hound German mix, he is smart like a German calm like a basset hound and has the upper body of a German with legs of a basset. The only issue I have is he does have lots of anxiety when I leave which kinda sucks for now cuz I work long hours
I loved them since Turner and Hooch! But 5 to 6 years, i don't think i can handle that. Was also looking at the Broholmer. Somebody else also mentioned it here in the comments. Love that breed also! Only 2 breeders here in the Netherlands. Really really hard to get one. And you have to go to Denmark for meetings etc. Can't spay them if you want, they have the stay available if they want to take your dog for breeding. I don't want that. Just want a family dog. But i understand it's for maintaining the breed. So now we are looking at a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. After our Rhodesian Ridgeback, who was a really sweet boy, but could be a handfull, i would love a dog who is a bit more relaxed. If we would get another Rhodesian, i think i will compare him to much with our previous dog. I miss him so much! Hope you are still with us Ramses. And if not hope you are happy in doggy heaven and we will meet again at the rainbow bridge! ❤
Only issue is / can be, don't know about the actual situation today(?), the lower back / hip region. Is it still a problem today, or has it changed?....🤷
Orangutans are also insanely smart apes, like chimps but much less likely to rip your face off. Orangutans will only harm someone if they’re being literally threatened, attacked, or highly irritated. They also know how to use tools. I don’t think orangutans are kept in the same measures in captivity like chimps though because of how big they are
