For some reason when I try to add serial number in the parameter list this appear in purple letters so is not working when I run the program. Any help with that?
I am Spectrum and Accura user from Malaysia. Recently, our customer requested that every program in Calypso should have a password. Can you help me how to set a password for each Inspection Program so that it is not hacked and changed without permission. Thank you.
In addition to the Windows options for password protection you can use different users with different user rights in CALYPSO to prevent the inspection program from being changed. The same is also possible with the CALYPSO AutoRun feature.
I learned so much, completed customizing our company header. The only thing I cannot find or figure out is how to add a field to automatically fill the equipment calibration due date. Right now we input it manually once a year after the cmm is calibrated. Is there a code I can add on the header where to pull the calibration date +1 year to automatically fill in the calibration due date
For some reason, the custom variables weren't showing for me in Variable>Data Provider>Measurement. But when I pasted the code ${Qdb.Measurement(20003)} it worked. So weird.
If you took part into our Live Online Trainings, you will find the whole recordings in the ZEISS Portal. Furthermore you will find a lot of free additional tutorials in the portal.
You must always ensure that the reference sphere is positioned and added in CALYPSO in such a way that the stylus system to be qualified can move around the reference sphere without collision. If the shaft of the reference sphere is touched during the qualification process, this leads to a collision or the sigma value after qualification is very high.
In principle, the variables can be generated in any language. However, to specify your needs with translations we would recommend that you contact your ZEISS support.
Since we require more detailed information on software version, system, etc., please create a service request via the ZEISS portal - portal.zeiss.com/?group=imt
The use of filters and outlier exclusion require a deeper knowledge of CALYPSO and cannot be summarized in RU-vid. We recommend attending a ZEISS CALYPSO advanced course. If this is not possible, you are welcome to ask the community - forums.zeiss.com/messtechnik
Interesting and informative video, #measuringhero. 😀 I would be more interested in the profile accuracy (and maybe the diameter). Deviations in X, Y and Z wouldn't bother me too much if I was inspecting my probe tips.
With reference to the position accuracy of the stylus, the results of X,Y and Z are interesting. If necessary, further standards (Ring gauge, flick standard) can be used for inspection, whereby the inspection strategy should always fit the measuring task.
@@shashikanthugar2844 You can add the Operator name directly in PiWeb Designer. Just create a text field in the report header and add the variable ${Qdb.Measurement(8, -1)} Alternatively you can find these and other standard variables, when right-clicking the text field.
Of course we will publish more videos in the future. To qualify a new stylus in a different angular position, use the "Rotate stylus system to new position" function in ZEISS CALYPSO. Then create a new stylus and qualify as described in the video.
