It's OK , I find it a bit synthetic but not in the same league as their Oatmeal Stout..they're selling this for £3.20 near us so not too bad price. Try the Nut Brown & Taddy Porter, cheers
@@AllHailTheAle ah no sorry - I’ve seen Pineapple Express, Hadouken etc coming back. This definitely new but feels like their old approach and for the better
You're a brave man Nick, once was enough for me! I'd love to see a shootout between St Peter's and Doombar for the dubious honour of the worst AF beer ever! 😂
This has definitely changed. i got this a few months ago and it was clear. I have just come back to re try it (along side watching your review and now the flavour is definitely unfiltered and its so cloudy.
I'm not surprised it tastes the same as the base beer is the same, just like it is everywhere. The only difference between Guinness in Ireland and the UK is that Ireland uses more nitro in the mix, providing a creamier mouth feel. The rest is down to clean lines, pouring and the glass.
@@AllHailTheAlea few weeks ago I got a box of bitburger from a big Tesco near me, it was during the euros and was the official beer of it though. You can get it from majestic wines aswell

Interestingly I've just drunk one after a Double Barrelled Parka Pale Ale 4.5% and a Gypsy Hill Bandit Pale Ale 3.4% and it held it's own even though admittedly it is not as good as either of those Beers. I found the finish gentle but not non-existent.
your description of that is spot on. you sir, have a good palette as i experienced the same with this WT beer but couldnt describe it till you did for me.
A lot of black, dark chocolate, licorice, burnt bread crust, pumpernickel. Smooth, with a hint of plum and light smoke. Medium bitterness. A lot of black, dark chocolate, licorice, burnt bread crust, pumpernickel. Smooth, with a low liqueur alcohol feel. Medium bitterness. Just a nice well-balanced imperial Baltic porter. Cheers! Na zdrowie!
i agree regards the sour...though apart from Vault city i find most dont quite clear the palette in the way i would hope n we see more of the t-shirt design?
Damn nick all this time and only just trying it! This is one of those lagers where I actually prefer it from the cans rather than bottles, be interesting to see what you think
