Showcasing life and real estate in NYC. My channel has real estate content as well as whatever else life and NYC inspires me to create. My contact information: hbailiff@opgny.com I am a licensed RE salesperson, so whether you are thinking about moving or starting a business, my inbox is always open! Even if you aren't moving in the NYC area, I'd be happy to refer you to someone who can help, no matter where you are!
Congratulations for your success! I discovered your videos several months ago. Very well presented and to the point - the prices are insane but I don't live there but it's nice to see how the 'upper crust' lives. Keep being you!
Interesting to see how it all works. Good to see that you’re doing so well. I like your positivity and enjoy having an opportunity to look around these high-priced apartments from my cosy flat in the UK 😊
Greetings from Canada. So happy your channel is paying off. You are my favourite real estate channel. Is there any chance we could see some tours of pre war character buildings? I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd like to see them. Can't wait for your next video.
I will work on this! The reason most of mine are newer builds is because they have leasing teams/offices. It's easier for me to schedule a time with a leasing person to view instead of trying to convince a listing agent to let me record, but I will work on it!
I am so happy for you. I am one of your over 65 (clocking in at 70) subscribers. Just curious, how does your analytics determine the age of your viewers? My instinct is that it is in the viewers' profiles and since I refuse to post any info unless absolutely necessary, the analytics just sort of ignores me. Not the first time that has happened. As a born and bred New Yorker, I like going home again and your videos are my carriage of choice.
I believe that your RU-vid account is typically also your Gmail account since they are both google, and when you created your Gmail you had to give your birthday! If your profile was created using another email server then maybe they guesstimate based on what you watch. And I appreciate your kind words!
I am subscribed and an older... let's see, a man. When I was a kid, the other boys would say, "Are you a boy or a girl?" Never wanted to be a girl ;-{), but I was fascinated by older grandma-types and busses, weird kid. Why do I watch you? You are fun and to the point. None of the nonsense one sees from those trying to be fancy. Be happy.
Cool and informative video, thanks! I am confused and if you addressed it I apologize, but if you earn less than $100 do you just lose it or do the earnings roll over until you hit the $100 threshold and then you get paid?
I didn't mention it but it just rolls over until you eventually hit $100! I don't think it ever expires, it just stays in your pending until you reach the threshold.
I will work on being more consistent! I have so many ideas, just need the time and technical abilities to execute. With time I'll get better and I'm hoping to sprinkle in a few live streams here or there as well!
You usually give the location of the apartments. I assume they were in Manhattan. Like other commenters, I couldn’t understand why the monthly maintenance on the first apartment was so high.
This was one of my earlier videos where I was still figuring this RU-vid thing out (although let's be real, I'm still figuring things out day by day). They were scattered across the Upper West Side though!
They are actually both .6 miles away from these buildings according to Google maps! When that's the case I choose the station with the most lines available since that's more convenient
@@hayley_bailiff that info is incorrect, those buildings are 2 blocks away from 8th Avenue and west 50 st , but to 59th st is the same 2 blocks up and then 8 blocks north so , no it's not even close
@@1474JOHN You are correct. I just pulled up google maps again and I accidentally calculated from the 50th St and Broadway station, not the 50th and 8th station. It's a .2 mile difference. Considering Columbus Circle has more lines though it likely would have been the same rating from me if I had noticed 50th St station was closer. Sorry about that!
You need to be a professional, have a partner who is a professional with you, to be able to rent these places....otherwise, you wont make it here in New York aka Manhattan lol...except for Queens and other places....
Hahah😅! Thank you for you tours here!! You made me laugh talking about the sun gathering group getting their sun tans!!!😅 I like the apartments with the washer & dryers in them first!! 😊
I appreciate how you address financial considerations when appropriate (e.g., credit based qualifications) . This is such a nice, helpful piece of information many content creators overlook.
FINALLY!!!! A rental company that is credit based.....that's perfect for someone who doesn't meet the ridiculously high income requirements. I love that your apartment reviews are set by standards that don't change. It ensures that ratings are fair and not biased. I thought it was neat that 2 of the bathrooms across the street from each other were exactly the same. I preferred the lobby of the second building and I also preferred the water views....That said, all of the apartments were very nice and I would have lived in any one of them that had the in unit washer/dryer. Aaaaand finally just gonna throw this out there....If those half naked people were good looking men, I would not have complained at all to see them in your video...lol...so I guess that makes me the creepy one, hahaha...Thanks for another great video...I check every week for your video's...See you next week.
Most of the sunbathers were women so you probably would have been a bit disappointed! Lol. I'm just so happy none of the sunbathers got made at me for the few pans I did. I tried to make it obvious I wasn't recording them
