I haven't been able to get the glide working in the sequencer, have you? I want to be able to have the sequence playing while I increase and decrease the slide knob and hear the changes bejng made in realtime. The SH-101 does it, but the MS-1 doesn't.

I removed the sticker of my matriarch when I got it, applied custom labels. I do not like Moog using stickers, vintage moog panels look way better.

Is that bubble caused from the fact that Moog's are now made in China? The freeze is fun. That would be a pain. Slow start up not a problem in the studio but not good if you are late for a gig firing it up.

Hello and thank you for the job. I have 2 quick questions (if you have time): when you record via USB; the "perc" engine is recorded in multitrack? (1 kick, 2 snares etc. on separate tracks) Is the "performance" mode usable with Synth engines?

With each of your mc707 videos I get closer to the shaking wallet. Only occasionally do I get regret for selling my mc303(didn’t love it but…) and my circuit which comes in handy often but leaves much to be desired. MC707 could take care of those issues :)
@Digiphex
@Digiphex 11 дней назад
The 707 is a deep synth/sampler and probably the best groovebox of all time. It is a Fantom workstation with drum pads rather than a keyboard.

this is why i wait a minimum of 6 months to a year(or longer) if i'm interested in buying a new synth after initial release. it's almost guaranteed that the first batch of products will have bugs, and QC issues. i actually rely on the people who buy the first batch. so i can hear all about the issues.

I wish my Jupiter Xm and the Jupiter X had that much larger display / UI than the tiny one they have. Sometimes I just like the UI on the old V-Synth, super straightforward.
@Digiphex
@Digiphex 12 дней назад
Silly to have the Jupiter X display small and to the side. The Juno X has it in the middle but still it should be as big or bigger than the 707. I have to problem at all making synth patches on the 707.

This is most likely some sort or manufacturing defect and I'd get it replaced. Mine hasn't had any issues over the several days I've had it. Haven't heard of widespread issue either, yet.

The slow boot times are kind of the same on the Korg Prologue 16. It does voice tuning on boot. Hence the long boot time. Muse is probably doing the same thing but it doesn't tell you about it.

Thank you for this video! With regards to the vinyl, our Voyager also has vinyl. It is how Moog made their products since 'the reboot' of the early 2000's. Not sure how it was before that.

Can I ask what the temperature is in your place? Is it humid? Is the vinyl coming off only on the “hot spots”? I’m wondering if they just had quality control issues with glue when they were manufacturing.
@Digiphex
@Digiphex 12 дней назад
It was like that out of box. Most likely some oils on the case before vinyl application or defects in gluing.

@lb2696 13 дней назад
I don’t think you realize what you are saying. With all the features this thing has under the hood, you would need it to be 8 feet wide to have every feature on the surface. The way they designed it makes sense. They have the most used controls as knob per function and then give you more in the menu if you need it.

Very nice. The raw sound just sounds amazing. I agree on the effects - My Nord Grand has a simple minimal setup for effects but the range of parameters and how they’ve concisely designed it makes me really appreciate that setup, surprisingly capable with no menu diving at all and minimal controls. Anyway keen to play the Muse when I see it in a store near me. :)

I believe it was live in a cathedral with a metronome. It isn't a pattern on some sequencer so you can't really hear repeats.

Vinyl instead of silkscreen at this price on a synth that can get hot does not bode well for what one will look like a year into ownership. Irrelevant for me as any multi-timbral with only one pair of outs is automatically off my list. (Prophet 10 being the exception that proves the rule...)

I thought you might like to know that I am having the exact same issue with long start-up time - and so far it has crashed (and froze) once when I tried to open the OUTPUT menu. I'm going to try updating to the latest operating system software. Apart from that, the synth sounds really great and is incredibly addictive to play around with.
