Hi a very small question. If I arrive to terminal 2 from an international flight and I have a international connecting flight at terminal 3. Do I need a transit visa and go through immigration? I will have a single ticket of entire reservation. As per the guidelines you need to be in international transit area then you dont require it but my only concern is is the passage from terminal 2 to terminal 3 is in international transit area
Hello everyone, am watching this video in September 2022. Is the information about transiting though the airport without a transit visa still valid in 2022
I have a flight coming into Houston and going to DC (from New Zealand) with only 80mins between landing and takeoff. Do you think I will make it? Getting a bit anxious!
Are you connecting on another airline? I was under the impression that if you're connecting to the same airline (albeit a few discount airlines) your bags are checked through to your destination.
You still have to go through immigration, since your final destination is in Colombia (you have to go though customs and immigration at the port of entry)
@@CarsTrainsPlanes okay I see then what happens when you go thru to the right ? Is it another kind of immigration or security or just to the other gate👍?
Hi! Wondering if anyone can provide some guidance. I'm arriving at GRU Terminal 2 from a domestic flight and departing from Terminal 3 at gate 306 or 324 for an international flight. Both flights are on separate tickets so I wouldn't be able to pass through connection lane. I don't have checked bags and will likely have a mobile boarding pass to avoid the airline counter but will still have to go through departures immigration and TSA. How long will it take from gate to gate under these circumstances?
@@lilianaramirez6346 hi, have you done your flight already? I will have the same situation: arriving from Iguaçu to T2 and our int. flight to Europe deppartes from T3. Separate tickets. Time between flights 2h, handluggage
@AndresRootsi Hi, I did have my flight. However, I ended up leaving IGU earlier. I was originally going to have almost 3 hours in connecting time, but my departure flight got moved earlier which made my layover only 1 hour and 10 minutes. I knew I wasn't going to make that, so I moved my flight out of IGU to depart earlier.
Hello I hoped you could show more of the baggage part also. Did you first arrive on terminal E, then went to immigration, then to claim bag and then recheck, then customs and then to your gate? Can you please write out the steps you went through?
Hi, I’ve done this at IAH: 1. Immigration 2. Claim bag 3. Customs 4. Recheck *and* rescreen you/carryon. Note: there is no TSA Preck at the re-screen (as of my Oct 2021 trip). If you are a US citizen-LPR-Canadian, I rec downloading the CBP MPC app. Once you land, you scan your passport, take a selfie and fill out your customs declaration and send to Immigration/Customs. Then follow the “Mobile Passport” lane at Immigration. I was through in less than a minute. I got my checked bags and no one stopped to question me. It is a very long walk from the plane to Immigration, use the restroom first.
That sounds awesome. Please feel free to share your project information -- like a website or fanpage, if you have one. It will not be marked as spam and I'll be happy to contribute if I can
