@@jovanadamcevska oh wow that's not what i expected tbh i usually paint on 2000x2000 canvas size on my phone all the artworks that i posted on my channel are 2000x2000 pixels. Thank u for the information ❤️
Hi. I really love painting icons but i dont know the use of theme or haw i get started painting theme Is it just to paint random (fantasy or sci-fi) objects or what?? i relly need help 🙏❤️
@@AboubakerArtist It's really random, but it has a theme at the same time 🤣 for example, this theme is ''Tavern'', but it's random what you paint within that theme, you can paint whatever fits into Tavern theme :)
@@edipar829 I'm really new to blender, this was more like a fun little project and first texture paint EVER...I'm not good enough to make Blender tutorials yet 😬
Jovana in 0:06 we can see that you first create you artwork in a very small square that simulates your canvas, then you expand it with CTRL + T and start the digital painting. As a beginner artist, I'm always confused as how to start the creative processs and I always have problems regarding to generate ideas, so I struggle a lot to start a sketch. How do you recommend to start a sketch? I did the same as you (started with a small square) and I think it is easier way. I think I liked it 😊 By the way, congrats for this digital painting! I liked it so much!
Hey! So, the reason behind that is coming up with composition, I used small canvas in order to think of the big shapes and overall picture, not to get stuck with details, which can happen a lot if you start painting on big canvas, to get carried away with small stuff, while resolving big shapes is the most important thing at the beginning. Once you're happy with composition, you can zoom in/increase the canvas and continue....to medium and small parts :) I'm always zoomed out when doing a sketch, or even for the most part of painting, zooming in is really for some details...but details dont make up a great painting, but all decisions before that :))) sorry for rambling, hope that makes sense
@@jovanadamcevska oh I understood now! Thank you for explaining in details. Don't worry about rambling! I liked your answer so much! As a beginner artist, I didn't know the composition is what makes a great digital painting! I thought the details were more important lol hahahaha! Thank you so much! Your channel is amazing! Can I give you a hint? As I'm always confused about what is your canvas size and the resolution (300dpi or 72dpi) you use, can you start your videos always showing the "create a new file" window, so that we can see the size and resolution of that canvas :)
When I first saw your tutorial, I thought it was some "big" RU-vid channel. I can't believe you have so few subscribers! The quality of your tutorials deserves much more attention. Not only are they easy to follow, but they're also a lot of fun. 😍
I'm sorry, I didn't use any course, I just looked a lot of reference of art I like - to figure out what makes it special and tried to improve fundamentals along the way
You are very talented and I appreciate the video very much as I want to learn to do these. That being said it's so fast it's hard for a new person to keep up or follow along. You created new layers and didn't say anything about it a few times. Even using pause I had a hard time keeping up. Could you slow down? Thank you!
well, there's a few reasons. It's a faster way to learn, to make a lot of paintings in a short time, rather than one painting spending 3 hours on details, cuz there's nothing to learn in details phase, so Im just gonna learn from my mistakes while making this one and apply it to a next painting. Other reasons is having 2 little kids and not having time for art in general, so I'm trying to do a lot with time I have... hope these excuses are good enough 🤣
@@jovanadamcevska fair enough. I was struggling with figuring out how to paint faster like 2h per piece so that I could make 4 pieces a day. I kinda achieve this but still can't paint 4 pieces a day because of boredom. You know there is nothing new to learn just rendering stuff untill it looks good.
yeah, and 4 is a lot in a day, maybe you're expecting too much from yourself 😁 I said excuses in my reply, because main reason is actually, even if I had time, I would still rush it, because I don't have the patience to spent hours on one thing :)
@@bahri_sertkaya oh, and I understand boredom, doing same stuff/style over and over again, that's why we have to try new thing occasionally, just to feel fresh again :))
