SIMTICS is powered by SimTutor Inc. SimTutor Inc creates simulation-based solutions for students and professionals to prepare for mission-critical moments at the time they need these skills the most. SimTutor offers two options: the SIMTICS library of over 200 simulated healthcare procedures, adopted by more than 350 schools across the US, and SimTutor Author, a software tool for rapidly creating simulations and scenario-based eLearning.
Each SIMTICS module covers one procedure and provides a multi-modal learning experience with simulations, 3D anatomy, video, step-by-step text guidance, and quiz. The library covers a wide range of content for medical assisting, dental assisting, respiratory care, sonography, radiography, and more.
The SIMTICS healthcare simulations are created using SimTutor Author. Proof that SimTutor Inc is the best option to consider for online simulation solutions.
What are some possible reasons why anesthesia didn't work for me? I've had teeth extracted 2x before, but last month for my 3x the anesthesia didn't work for me.
As per Kriss . Possible reasons for anesthesia not working could include increased anxiety, infection at the injection site, or variations in individual response to the anesthetic.
In the video there was a skipped step: the HCP DID NOT WASHED HER HANDS AFTER SHE REMOVED HER GLOVES, BEFORE PUTTING ON THE UTILITY GLOVES! ...I wonder how many other steps might be missing when they are NOT FILMED!?🤔😐🦷🦷👀
Watching this video to learn what to pass and when… practice and memorizing instruments. Using my common sense when it comes to safety in passing instruments and protective wear..of course.. Thank you for this simulation video!
Depending on the dental office you work in, but utility gloves are usually meant for handling sharps and sharp instruments in sterilization. Not for cleaning an operatory room.
Students are taught that the hospital grade disinfectant can letch through your gloves. Basiclly breaking down your gloves. And we know that stuff is carcinogenic.
Hi - this is a training company only, so we cannot help you. All the best! Translated by Google Translate: Kumusta - ito ay isang kumpanya ng pagsasanay lamang, kaya hindi ka namin matutulungan. Lahat ng pinakamahusay!
As per this video, Dental Assistant is the one who decide which instrument to use and at what time Dentist should use it. This is not a realistic situation. Sorry
Hi there, thanks for visiting our channel. All the filming was done in two different dental practices, so we have no knowledge of the equipment they use.
Hi there. Our online SIMTICS modules contain simulations that allow learners to learn, practice and test themselves on procedures like dental assisting chairside skills. You can access SIMTICS if you attend a school that uses the product as part of their curriculum, or you can purchase a personal subscription. Information at simtics.com/pricing/individual
At minute 3.08 it shows the user putting the pouch into the chamber plastic side down. This is a incorrect placement. The Manufacturers Instructions for use for this particular unit states loose pouches must be placed Paper Side Down. This is a gravity process Sterilizer and as such Paper Side Down allows any moisture to wick out the paper side during the drying phase. Ultimately the best procedure is to place the pouches in a rack, on their side giving the best results to dry.
Really helpful Video as I am starting a new job from the mid of July as a Dental Assistant Job , al your video is really helping me to gain some idea and to get familiar with. Thank you 🙏
Hi! Thank you so much for the feedback. We're glad you found it helpful. You might like to check out the full modules that we offer at www.simtics.com - these have simulations so you can learn and practice the procedures on your computer as well.
There are a number of inconsistencies and patient safety concerns in this video. Please refer to the AAMI ST:79 and the IFUs for the products being used when preparing your instruments for sterilization.
The only question I have is why is the notch always supposed to face the nipple? If I am at right breast 9:00 Rad why would I face the notch to the nipple? The probe will then be backwards in correlation to the screen. Also 12:00 rad the bitch should be facing the patient. If I need to prove up and down at 12 o’clock with a notch facing her nipple, it will be backwards on the screen. If I have the notch facing her nipple at 9 o’clock and move from left to right, it will be backwards.
The SIMTICS is the way to reminder to practice improve clinical medical procedures in the school lab portions and when the students gets to go on into their medical field. plus a reminder in class when students forget the procedures, when learning in lab practice morning.
Hi Mohamed. Thanks for visiting our channel! We are not able to answer medical questions like this on RU-vid. Please check with your medical supervisor.
lol you got it all right except for the siren example. In emergency services we call that siren mode “wail” it would’ve made that sound even if the ambulance wasn’t moving. Nice try. in the future use a train horn which is a constant pitch sound that will illustrate your example much, much better.
Hi there. Glad you like the video excerpt from this module! Please note that we do not sell subscriptions to individual videos or modules. You would need to purchase a subscription to one of our Sonography suites. You can find the details here: www.simtics.com/pricing/individual/
