Welcome to our channel!! I'll be posting mostly gaming on this channel. When I play a game, I try to go fast but finish all the objectives. I made this channel so some people can enjoy watching fast-paced video game. Let me know if there is a game you want me to play. I made a second channel about animal world. please check out www.youtube.com/@sunnycatogaming if you love animals!
Hello again! So I’m currently working on a new campaign and was wondering if you’d like to give it a try? As of now there’s 2 missions (mission 4 exists but it’s getting a rework). It’s called the Synoid Campaign if you’re interested.
Hey again!! I would love to play it!!! Right now I’m out of country so I’m having hard time doing stuff with my PC but I’ll be back in town in a week or so. Let me know how to play your new campaign:)
What has always bothered me when people play this mission is that they do not understand that enemies need to mine and build units. The more aggressive you are, the slower the attacks come. Typically people take roughly an hour or 2 so good job on doing it in 30!
Hi, I was the main play tester for this mission (and the composer for the music tracks on Terminus difficulty) and this mission can be beaten in under 8 minutes.
Canonically speaking, the Kerion are about as smart as the Zerg. “Kerion” refers to a single entity that acts as an Overmind for them. The Xayid are plants and will be getting a rework in about 2~ish years.
I didn't know that about Keiron. They do kind of operate like Zerg. So I have to wait for another 2+ years to play Xayid campaign? Damn I hope I'll still be playing this game lol
I want to mention that if you click the “?” Icon on the bottom right it gives a brief overview about how the AIs work and the map gimmick. For instance, if you bury a mole in the water it’s immune to the flood (before it enters the water). Massive units are also immune. Also yes, the AI does try and yoink units into the water ;)
Yea this was a quick one. If you take the 2nd 3rd base, both Zerg and Xayid grow stronger and gets harder to reach the objective so I just went for it :)
Good point. I probably picked the wrong video when I was editing it. Normally I take few videos and use the short and easy to watch one. So I probably mixed up. But for this mission auto gas is a must to have. Thanks for pointing it out:)
Some things to point out: 1: Uploader double click is a stupid bug I ran into late in development. The “solution” is to remake the building from scratch but I’m not going to do that. 2: Green’s ghosts don’t auto-cast nukes. Early on in testing, getting nukes was irritating and forced people to save-scum. My solution? Force Green to move into range of the player’s units before they nuke. The actual ghost AI nukes the first unit that has vision of that ghost. If I recall correctly, I believe the auto-cast is so the ghost doesn’t auto-nuke Spitfires and workers. 3: you’re the first person to ever go mass-air on this mission as it’s actually a lot harder to go mass air than ground, but good job. 4: Orange doesn’t drop, taking him out removed 90% of all the tanks on the map and prevents Krookov from reinforcing the other commanders. 5: The AI’s don’t have map-hacks, instead they have cloaked air units that they use to scout. When you set up your moles on the cliff there was a cloaked dude there. 6: The AI’s still attacking after they died is a Blizzard issue. When an AI is shut off, it sends whatever army it had cued up to attack. Because Krookov gives the AIs orders, the AI will follow its last instructions given before “shutting off” (they lost all resources and all code is shut off for them) 7: I actually had to tune down Krookov’s AI in this mission because he would counter whatever the player made. So instead he makes 62% units that can counter the player’s comp. And lastly, why was the font different for 2 instances? You’re using an organize background and then comic sans. It’s not that important it’s just… weird.
Thanks for those point outs:) 1. I found out when it's in building stat, it lets you double click. So I just put them in group right away when I start building them. Annoying thing is when mis click on that group icon and have to regroup all of them again....Click one by one....I do that twice in this video. Wonder if you can tell when I did it lol 2. When I saw them shooting like 6nukes at once, I thought auto-cast was the reason they were going crazy with it. 3. I actually tried with ground units for a quite a while at first. I tried so many different combinations of units. Seemed like mass Badgers takes less time to finish the mission and less cost all together. 4. I just make sure all their productions are removed from the game...:D 5. Yea I notices that. AI is just being like AI. Doing all these flowless moves and newb moves :) 6. Like I said, in 4:) 7. I'm not sure if I can beat mission 5 on extreme difficulty.100% AI might be too much for me :( Font meaning the comments I put in the video right? I actually intentionally changed the color to see if anyone would notice it lol But I don't remember doing a 2nd one so that one must be a pure mistake >< I'm still new to these editing stuff on RU-vid so I don't know what I doing yet :)
I have to say, I really do appreciate your videos. It’s nice to see someone appreciate the work I put into the AI by commenting on it. This series was a blast to watch and I do hope you’ll check out my next campaign (Synoid) when it’s finished. (And maybe even try out the Scion bonus mission?)
I already finished recording the bonus mission. It will be a short video. I still have to put some comments in it. Btw, whatever I say in the video I'm just joking around. Don't take them seriously:) I absolutely love this campaign and I admire your work!! I just wish the channel was a little more bigger so more people can see our work...lol
The AI’s work like this: Everything is centered around Krookov (purple). Krookov commands the other commanders and orders when to attack, counter attack, harras, and defend. He’ll pull Orange’s tanks to defend the other AI’s, order Teal to drop harras when you move out, and order massive counter offenses when you move out. Krookov himself spends most of his time protecting the other commanders, so if it feels like the AI is reacting to what you do, *that’s the point.* I wanted this mission to feel like you’re fighting against an elite general, so I spent about a solid 4 weeks programming the AI’s. On Terminus difficulty (the nightmare mode for the campaign) the only change to the mission is that Krookov is a lot smarter in his decision making.
You really did a great work with the AI. I love playing campaign maps and figuring out the weak point of the AI. And I have to say this mission was one of the hardest one I ever played :)
I was thinking about it. Div already told me he didn't it wasn't balanced so I might play it but probably won't make a video of it. Unless people wants me to :)
oh and thanks for pointing about the sound. I love the music of this game so I always have the music on 100 and other sounds little less. I never thought it would affect the video lol
I love the references in this. All the commanders are names based on Command and Conquer, some of the unit names are from Supreme Commander, and a lot of the custom units have little dev jokes and notes on their descriptions. Also it's "Hammer Lord" not Hammer head as it's a reference too the Monkey Lord from Supreme Commander and the Hammer Jack from, well, Supreme Commander. The Hammer Lord is a combination of the 2 units.
Yea there were a lot I didn't mention in the video because the video would be too long but there were a lot of interesting stuff in this campaign. I hope people will watch This video and make them want to play it:)
That makes me very happy since adding those comments takes a lot of time to do. I started doing that when I did my Odessey campaign mission 11 but I only got like 5views so I stopped doing it :( After I got a comment about I should have some thoughts or comments in the video I started doing it again on this video. If you like it I'll keep doing it:)
Something to note is that Red and Purple don’t share vision, and that the Whirlwind doesn’t target your mineral line. I hate it in campaigns when my mineral line is harassed because all it does is make you save scum, build a few turret, and ignore it. So in the campaign the Ai will never purposely harass your mineral line. Also you can “technically” kill Cruith in this mission if you bait him over with an air unit. Killing him results in the final cutscene just, staring at nothing in pure silence.
Yea I notice that about the vision after sending max army 5times to purple and getting wiped out by the Whirlwind lol I didn't know about the harassing mineral line thing but that is nice to know since I hate getting my mineral line harassed too. I mean this is campaign, not PvP. Want to enjoy the game without getting all my workers killed:)
It took 3 hours of programming to make the AI actively avoid targeting the player’s mineral line. There was a fun bug early game n where the AI would nuke its own mineral line and I still don’t know what caused it.
So, fun fact about the Ai. It actually tries to avoid your army to slow you down. The whole point of the mission is the Umojan trying to stall for time so I programmed them to do just that!
Mission 4 probably has one of the most complicated AI’s I’ve made who actively reacts and predicts your movements. I have an essay worth of notes on how the two AI’s work. Also, congrats on making it to 4!
Yea that was a crazy AI for sure...:P Like I mentioned in my other comment I already finished all 5 missions and the bonus mission. Right now I'm practicing and trying to find the way to be able to one shot the mission without dying for the video.
Oh wow you’re really fast with your uploads. How long did this mission take to beat? Also, side note, it’d be cool to get your thoughts as you play the mission with little subtitles because it’s very clear you did a few attempts beforehand.
Yea I just love this game so much, been playing it since StarCraft one. So when something comes out that interest me I just play it non stop lol For this campaign I played each mission at least 2-3 times before I made a video for it. So that I'll know how it goes and I can keep the video short as possible, so people won't be bored watching it.
I tried putting some tips and advice for the gameplay with my other video( last 3 missions of Odessey campaign) but it took so much time to make it, and for the time I spend I only got like 9 views so I stopped doing that :(
If you can’t tell this mission got a complete rework. It was originally a 1v4 where you could take one of the enemies out early in a sneak attack. However, the problem was no one knew how to fight Kerion or the Xayid so it ended up getting scrapped. The reason the 2 factions still exist is because I physically can’t get rid of them without rewriting all the code for the mission.
I seen Lowko play those 3races and some hybrid race before and I always wanted to try them out. Did you ever make a campaign for Kerion or Xayid races?
Dev here. I’m going to be very clear and say this campaign is absurdly difficult. While people have beaten it and there are RU-vid videos on the campaign, it’s not a tutorial. This was my first campaign before I knew anything about “balancing” and “introducing the new unit”. I wish you the best of luck if you plan on completing this campaign!
Only mission I got to finish on my first try was mission 1 and 4. 2 and 3 I died once or twice but it wasn't bad. Mission 5 was hard lol Took me 7 times to finally beat it with one shot...;; Hope I can do it again for the video.
Do you plan on doing the bonus mission at all? I understand if you don’t do the cut mission cuz that one sucks but the bonus mission is my second favorite mission in the campaign.
oh yea, I'll do that bonus mission for sure. That was another fun one with the flood lol The cut mission you're talking about is the one purple Protoss looking army keeps attacking Terran one? All air battle map. If it is, sorry to say but yea, that one sucked so I won't be making a video for it. But bonus one I will for sure!!
Also one thing to add, mission5 after you destroy 5out of 7 enemies the big guy comes out. When you destroy him or after you do, it seems like almost every time the screen freezes. Can you fix that?
I had planned on making a Kerion one but the faction has no sounds to any of their units and the Xayid are getting a rework and will become a plant faction.
Do you think it’s normal to insult a stranger? If you can't win here, then lower the difficulty level. And if you can’t pass on the lowest setting, then you should think about deleting the game as a whole. I wish you all the best and learn tact and good manners.
There is no way to do this mission and all its achievements. You either use snipes on the Ultra and forego that achieve or you lose enough of your men and die at the end with the ling rush. Way to fucking not test this shit bro.
You could do it with back step shoot, back step shoot. Or it takes time but you could kite him until he turns around then attack. Once he turns around he doesn't turn back to you until he gets back to where he was so chase and attack until he goes back to where he was. Also you can do the achievement on any difficulty so you could try it on normal.
Hi, I'm the developer of this campaign. I completely reworked the first mission. Now it's easier to kill an ultralisk without using Snipeshot. And also, I completely changed the lvl design.
