These Hygge moments, can happen anytime anywhere, it is a matter of genuine pleasure of feeling completely relaxed and centered, releasing any outside static. So, lets giddy-up! Thanks Hygge Traveler. Most vlogs are of hiking, hike trips but, you will also find many other destinations, events, and travel destinations. Name change occurred from Hygee Traveler which is the act of living the Hygge lifestyle. Enjoy the many trips as most are in 4k and the views are spectacular.
Thanks for the comment. I agree it was an adventure visiting Zion. As you notice I try to show the beauty and reality in my Vlogs. I expect you are going to really enjoy my Yellowstone Vlogs coming up next. I put up my first one. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eq-Jr2VTUd4.html
Glad you got to visit. Looking at the positive, as I mentioned in my Vlogs. I think the smoke keeps the mosquitos to a minimum! For your next trip, I just finished up Zion National Park. Check out my Vlogs on it, and I am sure you will want to visit as well! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6D3RWOW3q80.html
Thanks, and enjoy your trip. You are going to love the scenic beauty of Crater Lake. If you haven't watched it yet the following is my overview of CLNP. If you want more detail, on any of the hikes they are under my category Oregon. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UGWonV4Rvp8.html
Didn't think about that, but you are right. I would love to get my mountain board on that trail! Just finishing up Zion National Park and it was the same. However, there was one trail, I got my mountain board on, but it was rather lame. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mIu1m5e77ik.html
I have not come across anyone fishing it, but there are fish in the creek. If you catch bull trout, it is catch and release. You may just want to fish at Cleetwood Cove. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6ycK0Mctb-0.html
Thanks for replying and providing some tips. I suppose we'll just put our hiking shoes with neoprene socks back on if our feet are getting hammered. You're video looks awesome...we can't wait to see it with our own eyes. Thanks again 🤙
Thank you for the comment. I brought, but didn't use my water shoes, however they were not hard sole. You will step between rocks so just make sure they will not be crushing your feet. Enjoy your trip, and this is going to be the best hike for you, getting out of the heat. I recommend checking out all my other Vlogs for recommendations on beating the heat. Thanks again.
So evocative! Like walking in an Edward Hopper painting - those long shadows, streets eerily empty of people - even though there are a lot of cars parked all over. I guess there was a cold wind blowing from the flag and the orange bucket barreling down the middle of the street. The music was perfect - the whole thing was mesmerizing. Thanks!
Thank you very much for your description, as that was the true feeling on the streets. For anyone that has lived there, they would say the same. That cold winter wind everyone stays inside.
Thank you for the comments. The scenic beauty of it was amazing. I recommend the hike is made with someone else. Coming back down I felt like something was following me.
thanks for posting. I am going on a Viking Danube cruise in September and am looking at shore excursions. I went looking for videos about Krems, wondering if I wanted to explore it independently or do one of their excursions? I enjoyed your video about Krems & will check out your others.
Thanks for the comment I appreciate it. As far as Krems, the Gottweig Abbey is a must do excursion, you can check out my Vlog on that. Otherwise, you are not in port very long. So, get an early start and just walk exploring Krems as I did. In fact, that is a favorite of mine, just meandering streets. So, I didn't' do a deal of excursions on my trip. In Vienna check out my stroll from boat docks... Vlog as I show you how to get to Prater Wein amusement park well worth it. The other I recommend is in Budapest, walk the promenade on your own to Margaret Island. Well worth it and I wish I had my swimsuit for the hot springs. I have Vlogs on that also. Thanks Again!
Thank you for the tour of my old home town. Lived there a long time. Moved there from Socal in'64. Lived there till myhusband, son and I came to the coast in2005. Had 8 kids there. So much is different and some the same. Still have a daughter there. Thankyou manytimes!
Thank you I appreciate the comment. So you would have moved there the year I was born in Lebanon. I agree things have changed since I lived there. If you get a chance, you may like some of my other VLogs. I will put in my homepage and I have them categorized by location. However, you may like this one - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-N1KwGwqUFj0.html Main homepage - ru-vid.com/show-UCem471TdTm_pL-eJqEsaEHQ Thanks again.
Thanks, I appreciate the comment. Last week, and it was hot, into the 100s. I will be doing a recommended itinerary Vlog on Zion. However, it will be a bit as I am off to Yellowstone this weekend. I recommend first day early in the morning, Angels Landing that way your legs are fresh. Then due to the bridge being out at Canyon Lodge after Angels landing do Kayenta trail to Emerald Pools. That is a hot hike! Then early in the morning do the Watchman hike and after that do the Narrows. It will be a hot time of day for the Narrows, but you will be in water all day. Then any others such as Pa'rus trail early in the morning. I was going to do Canyon Overlook and other Pine Creek hikes but never could find parking.
You are welcome check out my Pa'rus trail hike to see if you want to do that one. Also, helpful Vlog I just put up - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uUd1y6kMbw8.htmlsi=J8EV99bVEQLgktiS Subscribe if you would.
Thank you very much I appreciate it. Yeah, just had one that I may have made myself out to be psycho, Oregon ghost forest Vlog! Putting up Zion National Park now you should like those also. Thanks again!
Thanks, I appreciate it. La Center sure off of I5. Mostly driven by on my way to Vancouver BC. Kick myself for not going to Mount St Helens. Make sure you checkout my Grand Canyon Camping. Will be leaving this week for Zion, and I plan on doing a Vlog on camping there. I am not camping but will tell that story in the Vlog. Thanks again.
Thank you for the comment I appreciate it. That is Frauenbergkirche. It is beautiful, if I had time I would have attended church there as it is so inviting. On this Bavarian trip I also liked St. Barbara's cathedral - My Kunta Hora Vlog. In addition, Gottweig Abbey in Krems. If you get a chance check those out under Europe. ru-vid.com/show-UCem471TdTm_pL-eJqEsaEHQ
Appreciate the tidbits of this Viking cruise. We will embark on the European Sojourn from Bucharest to Amsterdam mid-August to mid-Sept, and certainly need all the info we can get as it's our first cruise ever. Will share video with our friends as well. Thank you for providing the video. 👏
Thanks for the comment. Since this is your first cruise, even if you are not very social, get to know the staff and fellow travelers. You will get to know some very interesting people on the trip. However, also make time for some alone time. Grab a drink and kick back on the top of the longship, taking in the views. If you can, also break away from the busy tour schedule to meander city streets on your own. I did just that and had a great time exploring and making Vlogs of many European cities on my Viking cruise. Have fun!
Thanks, I appreciate that! You may also like my hike down and out of the Grand Canyon it is under category Arizona. ru-vid.com/show-UCem471TdTm_pL-eJqEsaEHQ Stay tuned, I just got my permit to hike Angels Landing in June. Thanks again.
Thanks, I am in town and plan on doing the 100th anniversary of the Vigilante parade. Also, doing 1906 trail and prospector shaft trail again. Might have time to do an unknown trial to Mount Helena.
We're in cabin 225 on an upcoming cruise. On the diagrams, the area below is blank. I'm guessing maybe that is crew cabins? Did you hear any noise below you?
Thanks for asking, I didn't hear a thing up, down or on either side. However, I live by a highway, so I am accustomed to noise at night. What will wake you up is when they dock, another boat docks next to you, or going through the locks at night. If you do wake up it is pretty cool to see the locks outside your window.
You're welcome, if you are going up the Danube checkout my other vlogs for ideas of things to do. I highly recommend in Budapest walking from the dock up the promenade to Margret Island. In that Vlog the Christmas lights I came across it was a hot springs. A must do for myself next time, not sure what their hours are.
The real history is all the way down the end of Milton. I bought a house in this area a coupel of years ago (a complete nightmare) and did the research on what used to be there on the land. My house used to sit on the biggest producing orchard in Oregon (nuts) and the history is amazing. Helen Crawford used to own it. She sold it to a guy whose wife "disappeared" and then he remarried. He divorced the absent wife for desertion, but I have never been able to find a trace of her after she allegedly left Lebanon. Turns out in my research though, he travelled across the country and had other wives and numerous engagements.. anyways, at the end of MIlton was the mill. A lot of stuff happened there, people throwing rocks at those crossing union lines and just a LOT. Lebanon has some crazy time history, for sure.
Thanks for the additional information on it's history. I actually grew up in Lebanon in a walnut orchard. Was just back there but, rained every day so I didn't get out on any Vlogs. Enjoy my most recent Vlog - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tpbOr7R9oM8.html
Thanks for the comment. I come to forget about parking costs in major cities! Here in the Northwest, we tend to expect free parking. Here is a story you will like. I was in a small Montana city and a lady was in downtown, ready to back up her car. She got so mad that she had to wait for two cars to go by to backup, she said I have to get out of town during this reunion event.
Is say about ten mules go to the bottom of the canyon and it is up to 700 dollars for a ride. It was 1000 dollars for the mules meals and two night stay at the bottom then the ride back up.
Thanks for the price update. I will stick with hiking down and back out. Hiking down was one of my most enjoyable hiking experiences. Not sure if you saw my backpacker's cocktails Vlog I did at the bottom of the canyon? That being said, my Vlog hiking out of the canyon just about killed me!
You would know better than myself as I only got to spend a half a day in Krems. What I liked about it, in which hopefully my Vlog reflected it. It was quiet and views of the city were beautiful. From all the cities I have visited, I see that someone's lifestyle would not suit them in some of these cities. I am in the process of putting together a trip trekking in the Himalayas and I am worried that some of the group may not like how poor Nepal is. Anyway, as noted in my Gottweig Abbey Vlog, I really want to return to do the Wachau World Heritage hike and explore Krems some more. Thanks.
I actually grew up there and it was nice to go back and visit. I got the opportunity to do that, last summer. If you look under my category Oregon, I also did River Park, Cheadle Lake Lebanon and Waterloo. Thanks .
So far, I have done Bavarian Christmas markets and three Vlogs in Munich. Working on Regensburg now, then Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic. Most of it Bavaria. Once I am done, I would like to get your response if they have encouraged you to make a trip like this?
