Do you guys have some special mic that amplifies crunch sounds? There's no way a ban mi and a fried fish sandwich can be that crunchy. Ok I can't wait to try those places.

I so needed this two-part review of Asian food in Sac! Kru is a no-brainer for us locals with the accolades Billy Ngo keeps racking up, but the hole-in-the-wall spots with awesome food are everywhere, so we need someone to light the way to the best ones! And damn, just the sound of the fish sando from Mecha Mucho has me gettin' the car keys. :) I'd love to hear about your fav Chinese spot in town. My husband and I have been searching for a decent replacement for take-out since they closed our go-to (RIP Louie's!) We drive down to Elk Grove's Happy Garden when we're in the mood to eat in the restaurant, but end up eating just OK delivery when we don't. We know there has to be something better close by since we live near Stockton & Fruitridge--help!

When's the next Asian food tour in Sactown? Add Saigon Oi to your list. Get the Banh Mi Chao...it's hella good! And the Banh Khot.....so good! For Ice Cream next time try Salt and Straw, you won't be disappointed. The long ass line will tell you it's hella good :) Happy Foodie hunting!

@@OGLocsta09 I knew I wasn’t the only one that thought tank house was way overrated, even that new low and slow in EG is mid at best. Ima have to try Daddy O BBQ then.
@@ZzShorts_ If you do try Daddy O's, don't expect the service to be all that good. However their brisket and collard greens is what sets them apart from the other BBQ spots in Sac. Flavor is amazing!
