Im just about to get into air dry clay & happen to have dishwasher safe modpodge. With that I wouldnt need another layer of the acrylic seal, Im guessing?! Wicked sculptures! :)
Is this epoxy non-toxic? I was working with the one that you have to mix both parts, and I was told it was extremely toxic and that I needed to wear gloves and a respirator. I have asthma, and being exposed to it did aggravate it. I just didn't know and I wish someone would have told me sooner.
Miss Enon, I'm so happy for you! I first saw you sa BGC Artmart back in 2019 pa ata and I fell in love with your artstyle. I bought one untitled work of yours and made sure to follow you on facebook because I knew you were an artist I'd want to keep seeing. 💕
Abbey, yes I remember you. I will always remember the people who supported me back when I was just starting as an artist. Thank you for still being here. 🧡
Hi ❤ thanks a lot. Question, in the beginning 1:27 when you are working on the face, i see that apart from clay (terracotta) there is white liquid applied as well. Is that the sealer? Do you use it during the sculpting, not only at the end? Or maybe thats something else?
Hello! It’s just white clay. :) I used white clay so there’s a variation of color on the clay like a marbling effect. I only apply the sealer once the clay is completely dry.
Thanks for your masterpiece. I was searching for such poly glue, but couldnt find this brand anywhere in internet. So i am wondering if white glue can work? Or other substitution?
Hello! Hmmm, maybe you can try using an all-purpose white glue, like the ones you can buy at hardware stores. I’m not sure if Elmer’s glue would work well compared to that, I haven’t tried it yet.
Nica, I hope you just don’t dream of becoming famous. I hope you won’t do things just for views because it will make you feel sad if they don’t. Enjoy what you’re doing and do it for yourself. Okay?
One tip: when you feel disappointed, try to step away, look look around, take a breath. When you have doubt what you can do, if you have a computer, take a photo and test using Krita, GIMP and/or PhotoShop which path you can take.
Thank you! I step away from the painting every once in a while, or go out of my room. Then when I come back with a set of fresh eyes, I would immediately know if I like the color palette or not. Rest is as important as working. I haven’t tried taking a photo to test it on a computer. I will try that.
