Hey Folks! First I'd like to thank everyone who's joined me on tour; I hope we all had fun learning the art of Gold Prospecting. Gold Prospecting is nothing but hard work and good luck. Every day I get to spend out in the forest with new people sharing my passion for gold mining, we all get to test our luck and push our endurance. We usually find out, we have it pretty easy nowadays. Gold mining is definitely a gamble of time and patience, the more you play the more you win! Well things have changed and I do plan on getting back out in the Black Hills to record some new adventures. I am no longer giving claim tours, with that being said i do owe an apology to any who might have stopped in to see me again. The future of the this channel is going to be my personal adventures, testing my own luck and endurance. Thank you to all that have supported this journey so far, i hope to make these adventures into entertainment at the least, maybe leave behind some education if possible.
I am very aware there are other creeks and claims. Just stating that you are not welcome on the claim. We are aware someone has been using it without permission, (not saying you) but charges will be pressed when it is found out who it is.
@@mikemclain-mg9rf " Just stating that you are not welcome on the claim" You have the mineral rights to your claim, but you can't stop people from being on your claim the land is for public use as long as they dont hunt for minerals.
It makes me very happy to see a video again. I hope you find more time to hunt. I didn't do to great in custer but had a great relaxing time. Hope to hunt with you again someday. Always a pleasure
@mikemclain-mg9rf Do you Think you own the only claim in the hills? We want nothing to do with you. Please leave us alone or we will press charges for harassment.
Where are you located? Do you guide out of towers. We're from Fargo and coming down 2nd week of September. We are members of both local clubs in the area
Hey, thanks for the views. I'm in Keystone, If I can fit you guys in I would love to help put you on some gold! Message me or comment again when your in the area!
Hey how's it going? I contacted you many months ago about sitting in on some prospecting. I believe your in Keystone, my gpas place is out of Hill City towards Deerfield. I've been hiking up behind his place where there is a flume trail that they used for gold mining. I'm finding what looks like lava rock, petrified rocks, green looking quartz, with runs of red/white quartz. On that hill side there, it's different, strange combinations of cool rocks. There's mines there that my gpa used to pick around there, cool stuff. I'm interested in my hillside, unusual finds. I've not seen this anywhere else..
Nice, that does sound crazy. Thanks for reaching out again. If we can get something organized I'd love to come check out the flume trail and grandpops picking grounds. Let me know when works best!
Googoyl earth is your friend when it comes to prospecting. Also gold maps online, for just a few bucks you can see all the active and inactive placer and lode claims. That'll put you in the right area's. Good luck!
We have mountain lions and a few bears in the area. I have never had any problems personally. But i did have one on trail camera walk through the claim in the early morning.
Still prospecting?? Semi retired with lots of time, let's go! I know nothing about it but just simply would love the experience. Am not greedy or want.... Just want to learn and get out!!
@@FreshColorProspecting cool and awesome!! My grandpa's got a place north of hill city and when he was alive he prospected. My brother and I have a couple clues from him about the old train robbery that happened outside of hill city, when it warms up we'd like to see 8f we can't figure out where the guy hid it👍😁
Awesome feathers, not too sure. Is one a turkey and the other a chicken feather? On my travels pannin' n such, always addin' feathers to my hat. Excellent Gold! Thanks for sharin' and take care. 🙂🤙✌
Thank you Trenton I have done the Big Thunder Gold Mine. The year was 2018 and my Dad and I are doing GPAA gold claims. Thank you for teaching are first gold prospecting every. -Matthew
Hey guys I'm a Wyoming cowboy been lost in Georgia way too long. My girlfriend is from South Dakota...I'm going to be up there next week..would you help me pan a little bit of Black Hills gold for her wedding band?
i live in commiefornia in the sierras , want to leave , but dont wanna leave the yuba gold. been lookn your direction. any houses fer sale up that way ??
You have a really cool channel man! I just moved intro the Keystone area for a work for camp deal until October this year. I've been getting into prospecting and any advice would be well heard!
Spent a half day with my family prospecting with Trenton and Mitchell and we had a blast. Their knowledge of the areas history and panning and sluiceing was exemplary. Would recommend for anyone looking for an authentic old school river panning experience. Sit around and you will find nothing. But if your willing to put in the work you'll have a great day. Thanks guys.
Great video. Nice to see you inspiring the younger generation. I can't wait until the frost is out of the ground. I'm chomping at the bit to get out to our Ditch Creek claim.
I'm rockin the Smith and Wesson m&p 9mm or the Turus Judge which has two 410 shot-gun rounds and three 45. Long colt rounds what I care depends on the weather forecast for the day usually. 😁
Like anywhere I recommend doing your own research! There are active claims all over the Black Hills, and I do believe Custer park is not open to prospecting.
Great video. Looks like a ton of work. My lower back hurts just watching that. Great color and cant wait to be out in the beautiful black hills with you again.
Looking good my friend. I am about to start some of that out at the garnet. Keep up the good work. Always enjoy your video's. It is nice to see someone work smart moving those rocks.
First. It’s you old pal you got to meet over the summer with his brother and cousin. Hunter, Cj and Gage. Hope your doing good. Send vibes from Northen Minnesota
Not sure where you are at, but I've got a claim on Ditch Creek. We've only been out to that claim this fall. What gold we did find was so much finer than what you're finding. Great video.
I can honestly say it's such a peaceful relaxing time panning there in the winter. I had a blast and love hanging out and working dirt with trenton. He is absolute great person and very intelligent. Love the video. See u again soon
Not bad. That is some nice shinny. Always enjoy your video's. We should get together sometime for some detecting or some high banking out where I go. Keep up the good work.
