You can also just disable scaling completely if you don't want better antialiasing in the game and just go for frame gen, just change scaling type to off
Genshin need competition because devs will don't give a shit about this game, even people playing hsr and gneshin just joke about game everytime, they are doing everything here better and that's not a serious problem, when they add qol things into the game after few moths of playing and they don't do shit for 3 years in the game that makes most money for them. As a genshin player that got burn out i'm much more excited about hsr and wuwa than i was for genshin for last year at least, because it's that boring. Devs are misstreating the players to that point that they can spit in your face and still makes money of it, that should not be allowed. I hope wuwa will succed
I'll be honest, and I'm no lawyer or content creator by any means, but after seeing more of the contract from gacha smack's video (and comments from CCs he asked that some points are not really enforced), it seems to me like mostly general contract with some clauses that people should be aware about and try to negotiate if they don't feel OK about doing but not anything as insidious as people make it out to be. To me it feels like Hoyo tries to see how much they can make CCs do but not something that will be a strict deal breaker for them, similarly to how people might shoot for higher pay from a company when getting hired, just to see if the company will agree but would still be OK with regular pay. And, if people already signed but discovered something they're not OK with, it seems you can just walk out at any point too
I would like to agree but nobody is really surprised that the company is trying to work for its own interest the most. The main problem is that, even if they won't enforce those, they still have the full autonomy to do that at any time and they are hoping to catch some people on it, which is already pretty dang bad and shows how they think in general

Yes (thought, while similar clauses apparently were in the twitch wings contract, I don't remember if they ever acted on them). But to me it reads more like: "If you wanna accept another sponsor that we really don't like, you'll have to choose between them and us (since, again, if you think they'll dictate what you can do, you can walk out as soon as you get the response)". So, to me, it reads more like them not wanting to work with someone who might sponsor weird or sketchy things, or things that directly against their games (like, say, mods or smth). But yeah, wording is too vague. (though, again, I do give benefit of the doubt cuz it's Japanese agency working for Chinese company and contract already looks like there might be some translation errors). If there is somebody who did/will get into situation you describe though, I'll fully agree that it's not ok

well, you will never learn anything bad about any company ever then, since not a single one(even black companies) will ever state they do things wrong. This is more like a talk about the subject, and yes, nobody but content creators will do anything with it because why would they, but I'd like to have some talk about it and shed light on something that I find important
PGR has one, if not the best action combat in the entirety of gatcha space, when i first heard that they work on Wuthering Waves years ago, i knew for a fact that even if the game looks bad, the combat will be insane. Fast forward, i managed to get in CBT2 and the game has a more mature approach with how characters look/ act, theme of the world, story. As expected of Kuro, the combat was simply fun, traversal is fun, and challenges were fun. I never trust any reviews or how a company advertise their game, i only trust what i can get my hands on (as everyone should) and for the month i had with CBT2, the game was simply fun and enjoyable to play. At the end of the day this is what matters, if you're having fun playing it then good, if not then don't play it. Nobody should give a damn about companies, your time is limited so play whatever you enjoy
thats a yikes from hoyo, but its not exactly mihoyo problem, either, gaming companies in general for a long time been doing these levels of nonsense, if not worse, so hopefully this being brought to light will actually bring a change. nor do i really understand the "lololol they are scared of wuwa" thing like? i dont think its about being scared so much so just a marketing nonsense and hoard streamers like pokemon because money. just hope that wuwa forums on different sites have good moderators with great amount of patience and energy, because they gonna need it for the amount of drama going on possibly... also, that makes me curious - if hoyo has such contract, i wonder what kind of cc contracts the other companies under that group have, especially since papergames is connected to love and deepspace, which is one of the biggest otome gachas currently out there, and netease..... which doesnt need an explanation
We got some confirmation about contracts from other companies and *some* of them do have similar clause. Ultimately it's the company's fault for anything bad in the contract and the government's fault for allowing it(unless they are operating illegally) but yea, some industries just have a certain level of expectancy on shitty practices which still is very wild to me and I can't stand by it. For one reason or another, it's mostly present in Asian companies where the mentality on rights of companies vs workers is very different and they just straight out state those kinds of things in the contract and even things like saying truth can be considered slander and are actionable in court. With clickbaits about Hoyo being scared of WuWa, probably as always there is a grain of truth, and to a certain extent they are, as every company would be, but I don't think it will shake things up or anything of that nature, and ultimately the existence of WuWa will be great for the consumer because there will be a competitor on the market that aims to improve and learn from others' mistakes.
