@@ryanwhipple7275 unfortunately this is not a Squrt it's a Snozzle New Orleans Fire Department first Ariel Snozzle 27 it is now Apart of the apparatus fleet the first Snozzle in New Orleans history we will be getting one more next month Snozzle 16 but the spare spurt 40 as Squrt 27 is going to be in the shop at Fire Station 1 it probably will be handed over to Station 16 but yes the very first Snozzle of the New Orleans fire department fleet.

Well it's kind of a tight squeeze but engine 26 is kind of back up all the way by the door so basically Chief have a lot of room to get out it's just he always backs up and Scoops his car up.
Awfully expensive ride to go get food... I got kicked off because union firefighter told the mayor it was unprofessional to go to the store or drive thru
When they were going to make groceries I don't think we would go through the drive through we all firefighters must get on the unit and order their food like if we're at a fast food but at the store they and pick up what they need to make dinner for tonight but unit is always parked on the street where the curve is.

Well no this is not spare Engine 16 this Engine 18's old American La France Unit Squrt 16 is in the shop at Fire Station 1 in the shop it's been almost a few months now so they haven't got it back yet so they in 18 for now.
The old engine 16 American La France is not around anymore that engine will be probably at the training school where the other units are it's probably a unit for training on for the rookie firefighters.

Well yes you got that right we have all seven new Quints in service and they all pretty much doing well and we also have a new heavy rescue any new Chief cars new Supply vans and also new snozzle 27 will be on the way to New Orleans.
Well pretty much the new EMS units EMS supervisor units are looking very well but they are new show me a message has been getting a new vehicles but to really be honest the new ones are a lot faster than the older ones those units turn very well and he also have AC in them and the back is very good looking dark blue a yellow and the inside is pretty nice
Pacifically I'm going to keep telling everyone this this is Squad 2 since the 1970s and 80s and also 2005 Squad 2 has been around for years and yes it's a quint it's a new Quint we got and far as I'm concerned maybe in other cities or countries or States you all called it a ladder truck it's more than a lot of truck it's a squad we do have an engine that will be Squad 7 that's at station 7 with rescue 7 the unit that you see now is Squad 2 that's with heavy rescue 2 this is New Orleans and this is the way we like it but thank you for your comment I really appreciate it.

Well they would but they are using old Chief Vehicles as Medical units now it makes it easier for the fire engines and Ladder trucks they call them Sprint units if they get another medical one the engines or the ladders will take it in. Well it does but this time the new heavy rescue is coming on this Thursday that is tomorrow so it's been 20 years we had this rescue but it's making his departure and will be leaving Station 2 tomorrow the new heavy rescue will be there tomorrow.
Yes it is a squad and it's called Squad 2 maybe in different cities or other states y'all call it a ladder truck but here in New Orleans this is a squad and Squad 2 has been around since the 1960s 1970s and 1990s in 2005 Hurricane Katrina squad 2 and after Hurricane Katrina in 2006 Squad 2 with switch over to Station 14 where it became ladder 2 but originally it was always a station 2 then it was removed from Station 14 and move right back to Station 2 we do have station 7 where we have an engine that's called Squad 7 and rescue 7 Squad 7 is an engine.

That’s not no squad and that’s not no truck company neither that is a crossbreed between an engine and a truck. Not less they are combined an engine truck and heavy rescue squad together now but that’s not no squad.

You see maybe in certain cities ladder trucks are not called squads but this point is very very different from all those ladder trucks Squad 2 is one of a kind Squad 2 has been around for years in 1950s this unit was at Station 2 where it became a squad in New Orleans this truck was always a squad but at Fire Station 7 there is a squad 7. Well I'm going to tell you this our new heavy rescue 2 will be coming in this week so maybe there is a need to fix are old rescue but I mean it will be a spare for in the meantime when it's at Fire Station 1 in the backyard but in the meantime the new heavy rescue 2 will be coming in a few weeks
Well at this point there really is no need to replace it because the new heavy rescue will be coming this week but it will be used as a spare if any other the heavy rescues have problems but when is an engine 1 in the yard I may be suggest that Charlie would probably replace the headlight it's a possibility he may be will or not thanks for your comment.
Squad 2 has been around for years Quint or Ladder truck New Orleans is very different I mean I lived hear my whole life I mean I know the whole entire department a squad 2 is very different from any other companies Quint I see Squad and I know everybody most considered as an engine being used as a squad there are only two rescue companies rescue 2 and rescue 7 has a engine that's called squad 7 now that I've probably seen normal to everyone around the world but squad 2 is perfectly normal to me because I really love ladder trucks at squads I really love ladder trucks you're really my most favorite but it's not entirely acting as a squad because it is a squad Fire Station 2 I've been getting a lot of comments about this but thanks for asking about it I mean I'm very glad that I told you about it but thank you @Akonicki3.
@rashaddorsey Thanks for sharing! It's unusual for me at least to see a unit designated as a squad using anything besides a heavy rescue apparatus or a light response vehicle for EMS/other calls. If it works in its current configuration and is effective then there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. It almost sounds like the Squad is used as an extension of another apparatus/company, is that about right or are they a standalone response unit completely separate from whichever Engine/Rescue/other unit is in the same station?
