Just think about this: Karl Benz invented the first car. He named it after his daughter, Mercedes. However, it was his wife who proved that his car was something special when she took it on a long (at that time) trip to see her parents. There were no gas stations. She had to do some repair work herself. And, she might have had to start the thing just like this. She was an amazing woman for supporting her husband and his invention.!
So glad to see a video of Preston Trucking. I work for Preston at the Brooklyn NY terminal for twenty years until they close the doors. I also thought I was at the best Trucking job in the industry. I often told other drivers that you don't want to go somewhere else to work. After Preston closed and I ran into those drivers on the road they told me I was right. A Great Company, I wish I was able to put all my Tim there. I did become a Million mile man there, which to this day am proud of.
