The Orthodox bishops closed the canon by the inspiration of the holy spirit. Synergy. Calvinists hate synergy… they are monoenergists. If God does not determine things alone apart from man, His sovereignty is damaged. This is a false dialectic. Christ is both man and God. His Body (the church) and He, Himself, determined the canon in synergy in councils.

The truth is most so-called Christians will be at the Matthew 7:21-23 judgement and will be condemned because they believed in lordship salvation even if they didn’t know it or call it that. THIS is what ought to frighten people. But the deception blinds them; they think they will be okay but will find out how not-okay they are and it will be too late.

And if you find one that seems alright it could be 6 months or longer before you find out that they’re actual Calvinists or buddy buddy with Calvinists, or quoting Calvinist preachers like John MacArthur. this guy is promoting a false gospel of lordship salvation albeit very subtly. Westminster Confession TULIP is false…it mixes works into the Gospel. Paul wrote Galatians to address this.

I have never heard anywhere that Christians don’t care about canon. I’ve heard that Christian’s argued quite a lot and don’t agree on what was canon, and the church in the 2nd and 3rd centuries made a big effort to really organize the core of what they believed was “canon,” excluding popular books like the gospel of Thomas and such works.
There is neither male nor female in Christ. Anoint is the Greek verb chrio (from which we derive Christos = Christ = the Anointed One) occurs 4 other times in Scripture and all refer to Christ (Lk 4:18, Acts 4:27, Acts 10:38, Heb 1:9) The related noun chrisma describes the anointing with the Holy Spirit ALL believers receive when they receive Christ (1Cor 12:13) When we are told there is neither male or female in Christ, we find that there is a limit to this statement. That is "in Christ", that is because both would be anointed with the same Holy Spirit. The breath of God or the Holy Spirit is one of the same. Once we obey Deut. 6:8-9 God has us put on His Word. The Word He spoke to the nation of Israel who was to be spread. Israel failed to do so and instead honored the law of their elders making God's law void, much like the Christians do today. That spoken Word came from the mouth of God, later to write His Word with His own finger, then later that Word became flesh, we know Him as Jesus. Jesus, God's law hung the cross, Jesus is also the Law written on the heart. Jesus sent preachers out to preach about Him so others would come to believe. But somewhere we dropped the baton so others could be baptized in The Word instead of just the water. That Holy Spirit didn't land on those baptized in water, as it is still today. Being baptized in the Holy Spirit is just the beginning of our Armour. As we learn from the law, then prophets, and N.T. we find ourselves anointed to even the feet with the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Jesus, and the Holy Ghost. It is time we go learn from God how to be a Christian that we can spread the whole Gospel to those who grow to love God. May we all become one 'In Christ'.

I am a Christian mother of a 24 year old son who just told me he has been struggling with gender dysphoria since he/she was in second grade. She only recently figured out why she was so uncomfortable with her male body. As she shared with me she broke down crying and I held her with acceptance and the love that I know our heavenly Father has for her despite this gender struggle. Father I pray that the church gains a better understanding and more compassion regarding this very challenging issue.🙏🙏 My son felt tormented for many years and is still suffering despite coming out to me.😢

Discipleship is for rewards in heaven, First Corinthians 3:11-15, and to keep from the chastening of the Lord on earth. Colossians 3:5-6. God does chasten His children, John 1:12. Not to condemn them but to bring them back into fellowship with Himself.

Wait so did i hear him right? I was under the impression that the council of nicea at least confirmed the canon, but they had nothing at all to do with it in actuality?
You can even look at the documents from the council of Nicea. You won’t find anything about the canon at all. You’ll find the agreed date to celebrate Easter, agreement on the divinity of Christ, and a few other things the church agreed on, the Nicean Creed, and a few other topics, but not once is the canon mentioned.
The "whites only" signs still hang, you just don't see them written, but every Western institution knows the signs are there and they function as if they still hangs.
